CARING FOR YOUR FLAT-FACED DOG

YOU may have one yourself or perhaps you’ve seen one huffing and puffing, trying to keep up with their owner on their daily walk. Flat-faced or short-nosed dogs like bulldogs, pugs and boxers are known for having breathing problems, but these aren’t their only health issues.

YOU spoke to senior veterinary surgeon and expert Dr Morné de Wet, from Cottage Vet Clinic in Gordon’s Bay, to help shed light on these issues and what owners can do to help.
