Midnight seed, don’t feel down and buried. The world may see you as nothing as they step over you daily. But with the dawn comes life. And that dirt you thought was holding you down made you stronger. You pulled the good from bad and now nothing can stop you.
The seed we all overlooked is now a flower that we have to stop and admire. Your beauty and strength are what we all desire. The sun gave you strength but the night protected you from harm.
Now, this flower has turned into a tree. You give life, nourishment, and protection. Without you, where would we and I all be? Thank you for not giving up when you were in the ground. Thank you for growing tall and staying humble with no water and through the Gaul. This is the story of black women in all.
What Does She look Like?
I don’t think the day will ever come.
At this point in life , it seems like a fairy tale in a Disney movie. I’ve even stopped caring about it, even though people keeping asking what’s taking you so long? I’ve learned to do things in my own time and not worry about outside influences.
But every now and then I can’t help but to think, what does she look like?
This woman who’s meant for me, and me meant for her.
I bet her aura shines brighter than the northern lights on a night that hasn’t seen the sun in months.
I wonder if the room will light up to me like the moon and stars bring life to a dark sky when she walks in.
What if Her personality will be as bubbly as champagne being shaken before the cork is popped?
I wonder if she is as social as a butterfly,
Letting others witness her beauty by Landing from person to person. What if she strong willed with power yet silent just like a mountain?
I bet her love is stronger than the core of neutron star. What if she is so good at helping others, it’s
contagious and other people can’t help but to do the same?
I bet she will continuously push herself and I to accomplish goals in life.
There are so many what-ifs
, but I know one thing about her :
I know she will love God more than anything, even me.
I know she correct me if I’m wrong and support me on my decisions as long I have the same relationship with the Almighty Father.
An Image As No Other
When I’m with her I feel alive.
The most basic and ordinary memories make me smile and let me know I’m capable of truly loving another person.
Her smile is contagious in such a way that no creature on earth could escape its beauty.
Her eyes are warm and true. When she stares at me, I feel as though time itself is standing still, and I dare not look away.
Her scent is unique to where there is nothing like it.
When I’m near her, the very essence of it is intoxicating.
Her lips are full, gentle, and electrifying to come in contact with.
Her face is the work of God’s finest craftsmanship, and it illuminates as bright as the sunrise at the peak of dawn.
Her beauty radiates as the flashes of light from a sunset.
Her hair is as soft and smooth as the melody of one’s favorite song.
Her voice is sweeter than sugar cane and brings tranquility to the weariest soul. To hear her sing is a gift from God Himself.
Her skin is as a river at night.
It’s dark and powerful with a rich, plush, melancholy flow.
To feel its touch would equal reaching out to let the clouds run through one’s hands while flying through the air.
Her hands are filled with strength, comfort, and charity for her almighty God, family, closest friends, and herself.
There are few greater joys than being wrapped around her arms.
Her feet are delicate as silk but strong enough to withstand the trials of the day such as the same.
The curves on her body would make the holiest man look twice even in the most modest apparel.
She always carries herself in the most appropriate way, and she looks like the best painter’s greatest masterpiece.
Through all these attributes, the most alluring part of her is that on the inside of her.
Her soul is more precious than all the amounts of wealth a man could collect‒ there isn’t a diamond, stock, bond, amount of crude oil, or any type of precious metal that is worth more than it.
It shines brighter than diamonds, it doesn’t fade in or out like stocks, will never go away as oil, and it doesn’t need to be refined or transformed as metals do.
Her soul is fine exactly the way it is, enwrapped in God’s love.
Her spirit embodies the very architecture that God created it with.
If one were to climb the highest mountain and take the time to view all of nature’s wondrous beauties below, it still would not compare to how gorgeous her spirit is.
Outside of one’s relationship with God, I have never felt more complete than when I’m near
