Chapter 1

Thirteen months after Sam started at Sprigs Academy he was sat in the dining hall with Chloe waiting for Miss Rogers to start the regular welcome dinner dance speech that happens for every new intake. Everyone had finished the meal and the catering staff were bustling around clearing the tables.

The band stopped playing, and Miss Rogers walked out on stage to an applause.

Good evening students, she said. I trust you have all had a chance to have a little look around and have settled into your rooms. Can we all give the catering department a big round of applause for the wonderful meal we have just enjoyed.

As the applause died down, Miss Rogers continued. If anyone has any problems please go to the student welfare office on the ground floor. They will try and help but please, before you do, try and work it out yourself. You will all have received your schedules and lesson plans for this week. Please be punctual as it disrupts lessons and training if someone arrives late. I think most of you are beginning to get used to being naked but there may be a few who are struggling a little. For those few please stick with it and one of your first lessons tomorrow will help you with this.

I am very pleased to announce that two of our students are graduating today. However, this is no ordinary graduation as these students are no ordinary students. They have both been studying at the academy for longest anyone ever has simply because they have completed every single course we do, again, something no one ever has done.

Everyone applauded.

Everyone who has been here at the academy more than a day or so will know who they are. They are of course Sam Smith and Chloe Jackson.

Everyone applauded again and after it had died down, she continued.

One question that many of you have wondered about, is why have they been through every course? This has been a closely guarded secret right from the beginning and only three people knew why and I can now reveal the answer to you all.

The room had fallen totally silent as everyone, including the tutors, who had heard these speeches a thousand times before.

Sam Smith is the nephew and heir to the late Edwards Sprigs our founder and owner of the Sprigs companies.

There was a collective gasp and then the room erupted in applause and cheers. Miss Rogers signalled to the couple to join her on stage, making everyone even louder.

They stood to one side of Miss Rogers as naked as the day they were born with big grins across their faces as they waited for the applause to die down.

The original plan was to train a personal assistant for Mr. Smith alongside him and Chloe was selected from our best students for this position. What I didn’t foresee is just how well they would get on and, as everyone knows, fell in love, and became what we all like to call our famous couple.

The applause started up again making Miss Rogers have to wait until she could be heard. As Sam looked around the room, he noticed that all the catering staff had come out from the kitchens for this announcement. He leant into Chloe and said, Looks like just about the whole place is here.

Not just about, literally everyone. I thought there were more here than usual, look on the right hand table, all the cleaning staff and admin on the next table, Chloe said.

Miss Rogers continued, I would like to present Mr. Smith and Miss Jackson with a token of heartfelt thanks from myself, the staff and all those students, who they both went out of their way to help.

Someone from behind them stepped forward with a large glass replica of the statue in the centre of the gardens, a couple entwined together making love. She handed it to Sam and Chloe and then stepped back so they could take centre stage in front of the microphone, while everyone cheered and clapped.

I would like to also thank all the support staff, the catering department, the admin department, the cleaners and medical staff.
