What’s a girl to do when she’s single and it’s Valentine’s Day?
If you’re Natasha Hargreaves you babysit your nephew. However, not all is lost when a mishap with a large vase lands her in the ER with an overworked but very sexy, Dr. David Walker.
David’s not usually a doctor to fall for a patient but there’s something about Natasha that makes his heart beat faster and forces him to break the rules about asking her out.
Are they a match made in heaven and will Natasha be able to handle a doctor’s unsociable hours of work?

Chapter 1
I stared at the ceiling while resting my head on the back of the couch. Tonight I knew what Cinderella felt like after she’d seen her step-sisters head out to the ball.
Not that Olivia was anything like one of the ugly step-sisters.
She wasn’t vindictive or spiteful. But, it was Valentine’s Day, she was out on a date with her husband, and I was home alone.
I sat up, realizing I was beginning to feel sorry for myself, something I’d promised not to do as the most romantic day of the year approached. I caught a glimpse of Olivia’s dozen red roses that had been sent by her husband, Steve.
Bryan used to send me those too, but eventually he’d sent me nothing but heartache when he’d decided to cool our relationship to a level he could safely handle. What a joke. He had commitmentitis plain and simple. At first I’d been stupid enough to think he’d get over it, but then reality hit me like a tidal wave. He was almost thirty-five, had no intention of settling down, and I wanted more.
Realizing there was no cure for his ailment, I’d decided to move on.
Deep in my heart, I knew I’d done the right thing. But now, on Valentine’s Day evening, I was feeling down in the dumps. I wondered if another man who didn’t have the same malady, or at least one who’d found a cure, would waltz into my life.
Sean smacked his hand on his play drum, catching my attention. I smiled. At least I wasn’t without any male company.
My eighteen-month old nephew was only a few feet away. I’d offered to babysit while his parents enjoyed dinner at one of the hot new eateries in town.
He banged the drum again
