Timmy hates Mondays. No more having fun with his best friend Vance riding bikes to the park. No more pretending to be on a grand adventure looking for treasures that pirates might have left under the slide in the sand. Nope, no more fun! The weekend was over and now it was time to go back to school.
Timmy really didn't mind school. He liked his teacher, Mrs. Ames. She was the prettiest teacher in the whole school, and probably the smartest too he thought. He liked the way she came outside at recess with the class. While most teachers stayed indoors grading papers, Mrs. Ames enjoyed spending time with her students. Mrs. Ames hurried everyone into the classroom while Mr. Roberts tried putting his hair back on. The class couldn't stop laughing when they got inside.

Mrs. Ames said. Oh, no!
Timmy thought to himself. Every time Sara came to his desk she always rolled her eyes and made squishy lips at him, like she was trying to blow a bubble with gum. She
