I have experienced a wide range of professional experiences from delicatessen owner to secondary level high school social studies teacher. For example, in the late seventies I worked with a Polynesian hula troupe in Hawaii as a Hawaiian vocalist. Currently, I am involved in network marketing as an Independent Marketing Director with Team National. I have also written a short read about this industry titled The Truth About Network Marketing Book 1: Dispelling Myths and Beliefs. Four additional books will follow pertaining to my journey thus far. The future still holds great opportunities and I plan to engage as often as possible.

    It is important to recognize those who, in any endeavor, have contributed to that undertaking. We do not achieve any level of success without the contributions of others. Truly in all I have achieved to date, I have had a wonderful team of supportive individuals inside and outside this industry called network marketing, of which this series is about.

    First and foremost, I wish to thank my spouse, business partner, and best friend Lynda. Her clear-sightedness and focus I draw from and am inspired by. She helps me to get back on the track when I get derailed. I am fortunate and blessed to have her with me on this journey.

    To my mentor and colleague, James Jackson, I give a big hug of appreciation. His influence is found everywhere in this writing. He challenges me and keeps me on a straight-line approach to all we do with this business.

    Special thanks to all those who are part of my network marketing team. The ongoing personal growth and joy I realize from our close engagement cannot be valued too high. You all are the best and I am thankful for each one of you.

    Author’s Note

    I undertook this project because I saw the need to bring together in a short and simple to read series the key elements of the network marketing industry. These elements are gleaned from my own relatively short-lived experience in the industry and from my personal development journey with an awesome mentor. As such, I do not profess to be an expert; I look only to share what I know at this point in my journey. However, there is a bit of selfishness as well in compiling this information. In the process of putting this short-read together, I have gained a greater understanding and insight into network marketing, which I believe will only further my own growth. It has been said that to learn a thing, teach it.

    The series will consist of (5) books of about 30 or so pages each and should be a quick read. Supporting resources are also included. As a result, anyone can get through the information in any book quickly and hopefully implement as appropriate. Again, this information is not the bible on the network marketing industry and should be used as it fits and as aligned with any specific mentor training in-place now
