Hello to my readers and everyone else. I write domestic discipline fiction, and some of my work is Christian domestic discipline. I have been criticized for this choice.I want to go on record here as saying that I don't endorse CDD or pretend to think I know what God intends for a romantic relationship. I simply find the idea of mixing domestic discipline and religion an interesting and stimulating one.My stories are fiction, and all of my characters have consented to the activities contained within them including any kind of sex, discipline and spanking. At least they have provided as much consent as a fictional character can.My fiction is for entertainment purposes only, and I hope it will entertain you!

    Chapter One

    West Virginia

Catie, be careful! her mother called.

Catie looked up to see that she was inches from the fire place. She had been in her own little world, dancing around the room with the old cat, Mr. Jones, clutched against her.

Her brain is muddled by love, said her sister, Sarah.

Catie smiled but didn’t reply because it was true. She had been imagining dancing with Dade at their wedding. She was planning to see him that evening, and she was expecting a proposal. Dade had been talking a lot about making big choices and big changes.

At 15, Catie knew she was young to be thinking of marriage. Even in their small, mountain community, most girls waited until at least 17 or 18. However, she wouldn’t be the first to be married so young, and they could wait until her 16th birthday just a few short months away.

She’d known Dade Brenner since she could remember. Living in an isolated community meant that you didn’t meet very many new people. He was older than she was, almost five years, so she hadn’t paid him much attention as a child. He was just one of the big boys who bragged about their hunting skills and scared younger girls with snakes and dead mice.

Her attitude toward him had changed the year before.

It had been winter, and Catie was exploring outside with her sisters. Sarah and Maggie. Of the three Knowles sisters, Catie was considered the most reckless. She believed she was born with a natural sense of adventure and had developed it fully because she was the middle child, stuck between two very different personalities.

Sarah had always been a motherly type, caring for her younger sisters and brother with a nurturing calmness. And Maggie, the youngest sister, was known as a quiet beauty. So the wild personality had fallen to Catie by default. The youngest sibling of the Knowles family was a boy, Jordan, five years younger than the girls and babied by everyone.

Sarah had warned her that the pond wasn’t frozen well enough for them to safely walk across, but Catie had disagreed. It looked fine to her. She stepped cautiously at first, while Maggie begged her to come back to solid ground.

When she’d made it to the middle of the pond, Catie had been joyful that she’d proven Sarah wrong. She did a little victory dance before she heard the ice cracking.

Catie plunged into the shockingly cold water, and Maggie screamed. It was this piercing noise that had brought Dade Brenner running into the woods.

What’s going on? he shouted, but then he saw Catie’s predicament.

Dade, having grown up in the woods and having spent time learning survival skills, fished Catie out with the help of a sturdy tree branch.

He took off his heavy coat and wrapped it around her as her teeth chattered. Her whole body was cold, but she was able to walk. Still, Dade scooped her up to carry her back to the house.

There had been tears and hugs and scolding from her mother when Dade carried her into the house that day. Dade sat by the fire with Catie’s sisters while her mother helped her change into dry clothing upstairs.

Catie had been mortified by her own behavior but amazed by Dade’s strength. She was feeling shy when she returned to the living room that day with her mother.

Thank you, Dade, she said softly. I don’t know what would have happened if you weren’t there.

You would have died! Jordan shouted enthusiastically.

Jordan, hush, said her mother. Yes, thank you, Dade.

Dade stood and took his coat back from Catie’s mother. He smiled. I’m glad I could be of help. Then he fixed his dark eyes on Catie. That was very foolish, young lady, he said, sounding far more than five years her senior. I expect your father will have something to say about this.

I have a feeling Catie won’t be sitting comfortably tomorrow, said her mother.

Catie felt herself blush. She couldn’t believe her mother was telling Dade that she was going to be spanked.

I think that’s wise, said Dade. Frozen water is nothing to fool with.

When Dade had left the house, Catie watched him out the window as he made his way down the path. She felt like a fire had been lit in her heart.

Catie did get spanked that night. Her father had used a hard, wooden paddle that all of the children had experienced, but none more often than Catie.

After warming her bottom, her father had gathered her into his arms. I couldn’t go on living if I lost you, he told her.

She’d felt bad for making them worry, and she knew that playing on the ice had been dangerous. Still, she considered that decision one of the best of her life because it’s what had made her fall for Dade.

Dade stopped by the next day to check on Catie, and her mother invited him to stay for dinner. Catie listened with burning cheeks to Jordan tell Dade that Catie had been spanked. He continued talking about it until his mother cut him off.

Jordan, that’s enough now. Any more talk of this, and you’ll be the next one with a sore bottom, their mother said.

Catie learned later that in the evening after dinner, Dade had asked her father if he could take Catie out.

Her father had been hesitant at first because Catie was only 14. But he liked Dade, and Catie’s mother was convinced they would be a good match.

From that day on, Dade and Catie had spent very little time apart.

Hand holding and snuggling together while gazing at the stars soon became long sessions of kissing and touching that brought something womanly to life in Catie. She and Dade did not go all the way, but she would have if he’d asked her to. She wanted Dade to be the only man she’d ever touch as a lover. She wanted to bear his children. She felt very much like she had crossed the line
