Ruthie Satterfield is tired of living within the strict rules of her church community, but the only way out seems to be to get married. Ruthie wants more than just a life as a wife and mother. She wants to experience the outside world. When someone from her past reappears and begins to pursue her, Ruthie finds herself faced with choices about her future.
This book is domestic discipline fiction, and it includes the spanking of an adult woman. It also has some religious content and could be considered Christian domestic discipline. This book is not intended to promote the Christian domestic discipline lifestyle, but is intended simply to entertain.

Hello to my readers and everyone else. I write domestic discipline fiction, and some of my work is Christian domestic discipline. I have been criticized for this choice.I want to go on record here as saying that I don't endorse CDD or pretend to think I know what God intends for a romantic relationship. I simply find the idea of mixing domestic discipline and religion an interesting and stimulating one.My stories are fiction, and all of my characters have consented to the activities contained within them including any kind of sex, discipline and spanking. At least they have provided as much consent as a fictional character can.My fiction is for entertainment purposes only, and I hope it will entertain you!

    Chapter One

Ruthie Satterfield was tired of being a child.

She had spent the past 18 years of her life trying to live up to the impossible expectations of her parents, her church and her community. She was a veteran of Milltown Christian Academy, a school known for its strict discipline and for cheerleaders who wore skirts down to their ankles. She had been baptized and confirmed at Mill Road Independent Christian Church and had spent nearly every Sunday morning of her life sitting in its wooden pews listening to sermons and songs that were intended to give direction to her life. Ruthie felt like a ticking time bomb. She wanted out.

Ruthie knew that as a woman in her faith, she was expected to live with her parents until a man came along to sweep her off her feet and carry her away to a house where she would raise her own family. Sometimes she sat on the front porch of her family home and contemplated whether raising a brood of children with a boring life partner would be better than spending the rest of her life helping her mother in the kitchen. Of course she would also be expected to help her sisters and future sisters-in-law with their own bands of little people. As the single aunt, she had no doubt that her babysitting services would be in high demand but also very poorly compensated.

In theory she could pursue a career working as a midwife or possibly a teacher at Milltown Christian Academy. The school did not require an actual teaching certificate, and the girls were offered classes in cooking, sewing and child care. Ruthie sometimes giggled at the thought of herself teaching a group of wide-eyed twelve year olds that they should banish all sexual thoughts and keep their bodies covered so as not to tempt their spiritual brothers. She was afraid she would go over the edge one day and tell them all to strip down to their underwear and parade the school hallways feeling free and alive.

It wasn’t that Ruthie didn’t love her church. It wasn’t that she didn’t feel loved by her church. It was that this faith was the only thing she had ever known. She had never been allowed to see any other side of life, any other place in the world. She could choose to live a life identical to her mother’s, but it didn’t seem like much of a choice when she didn’t know what she was missing.

Ruthie’s parents had always told her that the outside world was a dark and dangerous place. The world had rejected God, they said, and because of that evil reigned. They did not want Ruthie to step foot in that world because something might grab her ankle and not let go. Ruthie took these words to heart, but her brain also told her
