… then a brilliant light appeared and I was overcome with peace, warmth and acceptance. Looking about, I observed colors I had never seen before. Breathtaking, radiant, indescribable colors were everywhere! Crystal clear rivers flowed peacefully amidst lush green foliage. Sweet-sounding, joyful music filled the air as my attention shifted to two glorious angels dressed in gleaming white. With reassuring smiles they welcomed me. Ultimate compassion, joy and love enveloped every part of me – and I knew I had nothing to fear. Knowing there would be no more death, no more disease, no more pain or sorrow, no more sickness or suffering and no more war gave me an unmistakable feeling of calm and sheer contentment. I recognized all the people that I have ever loved – each one ecstatic to see me. I knew that I was home – at last – I was home. With pure elation, I proceeded toward the magnificent jeweled gate… (Author’s personal rendition of entering into God’s heavenly domain.)

Does this sound like the beginning of a fabulous journey where acceptance and love overflow? God has promised His followers this and much more in heaven if we repent from our sins, accept Him into our lives and live by His grace and guidance.

…as it is written: no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has imagined - the things God has prepared for those who love him." 1 Corinthians 2: 9

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4

Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Revelation 21:27

We were made by God’s design! How glorious is that? Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:16. According to the Bible, we each have an opportunity to be a part of His extraordinary empire. You were made by God and FOR God. You were not made for you. …everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made. Isaiah 43:7 We were created for a purpose! What is that purpose? "Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matthew 22:37-40

Throughout my life, I have searched for intense, deep, consistent and satisfying love. I didn’t understand that the love I was searching for has been with me all along through Jesus Christ. "And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ,
