Holy Crimes (A Collection of Love Poems)
By Elove Poetry and Vincent de Paul

About this ebook
Holy Crimes is a collection of crimes of love, the little things lovers do oblivious, innocent, inadvertently, sometimes deliberately, and guiltily.
The joys of love are compacted in the mystery behind the history love has written since time immemorial, it continues to write and shall write even in days to come.
When that one single day the lover wakes and feels fluttering like a butterfly, dancing like a dervish, butterflies rioting in them thence they commit the crimes.

SHE Loves ...
SHE SAYS:
No matter what has happened.
No matter what you’ve done.
No matter what you will do.
I will always love you. I swear it.
C.J. Redwine
Defiance
I’m Sorry
LOVE, I AM SORRY
for each time I have hurt you.
Sorry, in case you do not like anything I say, or do
Sorry, for the times I have put up a fight
Sorry, I don’t understand why I just can’t do a thing right
Sorry, if I am sometimes so complicated
Sorry, for making you feel frustrated
I did not intend to hurt you
The way, I realize now, I did.
Your love means the world to me
and it always will.
I will do whatever it takes
to prove the same to you—
I love you; love but you.
I am so sorry.
I Blew it All
I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO say now,
I don’t know where to start,
I don’t know how it happened
And I don’t know which way to go
With my oh-so confused heart.
I tell myself it’s okay
That I made the right decision;
Yet I don’t want to go alone,
But it was my decision
I can only say, I blew it all.
Even if I walked away
And believed in my doubts,
And there’s nothing I can do
I can only say, I blew it all.
Even if I walked away
I pray he’d be waiting when I get home,
I need someone to ease the pain
I hope his love still remains
But I know, I blew it all.
Innocent Times
THEY WERE DAYS I’LL never see again
but I always took life for the best;
They were days of endless mischief
And I got away with the horniness.
There were evening walks and there were night stalks
Disco and reveling from A.M. to P.M.
They are days long gone
But they were always innocent times.
There were times I yelled at my mother
that there’s no peace at home no one listened to me;
There were times home was so cold
That I kept to myself I thought I was going dumb forever;
There were arguments and the catfights
I ran away for days and nights sure that everybody hated me–
But they were always innocent times.
Then there were days reason took flight
That I lost my mind I was going crazy;
There were the endless phone
