    Preface

This precious word of the Lord was given to the vessels of Robin L. Bryant and Shaudonna K. Bryant, with divine instructions and confirmation to share it with anyone who needs it. You may share this word only in the format in which it is given. Do not take away from God’s word, or add to His word given. We were just the vessels used to His glory, and honor.

We give Him all praise due unto Him for these words.

Truly they are words from the Father’s heart.

May you be blessed by these words as we were in writing them.

    A Cry in the Desert

    Father, I don’t know what’s happening

I see the mountain, but there’s no peace

I try to write, but the words don’t come

My mind is racing with no release

I’m innocently falling in people’s way

Getting them in trouble when I don’t mean to

I was just quietly finding a place to be

Not intruding on what they had to do

Father, if ministry is not allowed to happen

And there’s no more quiet places to be

Father, here lately it seems so hard

To crawl in your arms and let you love me

If I’m out of your will, please let me know

That is not where I want to be

I don’t want to hurt those that I love so much

But I don’t know which way to go

    But I’m cast out sometimes

    Then I’m taken in

It’s a roller coaster ride to me

Please plant me firmly in you, God

Not in depression and despondency 13

I know it shouldn’t matter what man says or does

But, Father, sometimes it does bother me

My heart is in seeking you, Lord

And in this moment, what you want of me

I pray for those that you placed in my life

That your love would engulf them too

And give them peace in the stormy hours

Like I know that only you, Lord, can do

    Help them not to worry

Help them stand strong, and true

Love them, and keep them in your protective care

Let them not feel the offense of what man might do

Help us all to push on in the midst of pain

No matter how hot and dry our hearts may be

When we can’t be strong and run anymore

Help me remember that you’re carrying me

I must be thankful for each waking moment

And for everything that you do

No matter how I feel inside

Even with my feelings I must cling to you

    14

Lord, help me push on this journey

    Even when I don’t understand

When all I can do is cry, Lord

In my heart, You say to just stand

Watch the darts as they come at you

Feel the pain as they pass thru

Know in the midst of all the battles

That I’m standing here with you

    A Desperate Cry

Oh Father, I cry before You

I don’t know what to say

The fire is hot and burning

New things continues to come our way

You said You would never leave us

And I believe that your word is true

Oh Father, I desperately need You

To help us to make it thru

Our backs have been against the wall now

For what has seemed a very long time

Yet we seek only to your do perfect will

And for your peace of mind

We want You and need our direction

Only what You say is what we will do

But there’s no light at the end of this tunnel, Lord

And right now we can’t see our way thru

There are people all around us that understand

    And encouraging words are few

We can’t afford to walk around Mt. Sinai again

We need clear instructions from You
