We follow "Pete" who has taught himself how to seduce a straight man. He has his sights set on Darryl, a typical weightlifting jock at the local country club. In graphic detail, he describes his hypnotic method and the many sexual acts he persuades this young man to perform. Or so he thinks.

It is a testament to his skill as a writer that he captured this moment in time so precisely.

I have always been into learning new things. I guess I’m just naturally curious. One day while searching in the UCLA Library, I stumbled upon a book about hypnosis, and it captured my curiosity. I have long been interested in mind control and other forms of domination. This book was particularly interesting, because it had a huge section on seduction through covert hypnosis.

Covert hypnosis is related to a poetic term I learned in a night school class on modern poetry: enjambment. In poetry, enjambment is incomplete syntax at the end of a line; the meaning is carried over from one poetic line to the next. The classic example is from T S
