About this ebook
There have always been bullies in the world. Most of them were made, not born. This story follows the life path of Tray from the age of 5 through a 10-year prison sentence, to becoming truly rehabilitated and a valued member of society. Due to overcrowded conditions and lack of money in our prison systems, rehabilitation is rarely attained. Many inmates return to the prison system after they get out because they haven’t healed spiritually or emotionally. However, there are a small number of inmates who were in the past and are able today to rehabilitate themselves, utilizing tools that are available to them within the confines of their cells. The information in this story can turn incarceration into an amazing, positive learning experience. This book is a treasure trove for those who truly want to change their lives for the better. It contains resources that have been documented to be successful in improving and healing the lives of those who find themselves in these difficult situations. This book is not only valuable for prisoners but also for their friends, loved ones, and families on the outside. In addition it would be a helpful resource for busy prison staff, counselors, parole officers, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers who are called to work with prisoners and youth offenders. A change of heart is always possible for everyone barring
none.

Bullies - Nadja
Foreword
Ideally prison should be a place for people to go to learn about themselves, their behavior, and how to heal, so they can become contributors to society upon their release. Unfortunately today, mainly because of lack of funding and overcrowding, many prisons have become warehouses, places of punishment, schools
for learning additional criminal behaviors, business establishments for cheap labor where possibilities for true rehabilitation are few or non-existent.
There are, however, innovative programs that have been successful in true rehabilitation. These programs are listed on the Resources pages at the end of the story. This section of the book contains invaluable tools such as links, book titles, programs, and organizations that have had a proven track record in helping prisoners, youth offenders, and people in detention centers make good use of their time by experiencing positive growth within the confines of their cells. These resources have reduced the recidivism rate and have rehabilitated inmates to become responsible people in their communities upon release. This extensive list would help prison staff, parole officers, family members, friends, and volunteers to have access to some of the best materials available to assist those who are held within the criminal justice system.
The author of this work would like to suggest that readers of this book gift it to juvenile detention facilities, prisons, prison libraries, public libraries, thrift stores, homeless shelters, half-way houses, battered women shelters, school libraries, rehab centers, military installations, 12-Step groups, and other places where it could help people in preventing future problems for themselves and others.
BULLIES
"Your pain is caused by not knowing
your True Identity." — Prem Rawat
Know thyself.
— Socrates
When Tray was just barely five years old his father was killed in the war. It was extremely difficult for him to grow up as a male without having a father in the house, not to mention the financial implications. His mother was forced to move to the poor section of town where she struggled to survive. He was in a harsh environment and left alone for long hours as his mother had to work. When she came home from work, she was emotionally spent, physically exhausted, and had little time for him. What time she did have was definitely not quality time. She was often irritated by his behavior. Negative attention is better than
