The Book Oft Quoted And Other Notes From The Blue Bus

About this ebook
The Book Oft Quoted and other notes from the Blue Bus is the culmination of my attempts to capture passing thoughts in words, which ended up in these shadows of those figments now lost not in entirity.
Here's to hoping that the rapture I may not have been able to translate to these words will still be felt by your soul - at least in passing - as they did mine.
If you like the creationist God or Donald Trump, you may be offended by this book.

The Book Oft Quoted And Other Notes From The Blue Bus - Once Adrift
The Book Oft Quoted
I’m that book oft quoted
– The one you don’t judge
by its cover.
I’m you, I’m him,
I’m them, I’m her.
I’m each of us;
I’m us, together.
I’m layer upon layer
of a rare Layer
that survived Mother Nature
– that selective slayer.
I’m particle, I’m wave.
I‘ve been that way
since before the cave.
I serve as a reminder
to those that've quoted me,
ever.
I AM that book oft quoted
– The one you don’t judge
by its cover...
Once Adrift
I believed you
when you called me
a Drifter,
until I saw that it was you
that was drifting
– with the herding crowd.
I could see
why you would see
the way you see
when you're herding
the way you herd.
‘Cause so many of you
have been herding
that there is now an order
to this chaotic drift,
and this drift is now
the order.
So, those of us
that stopped drifting
would seem to the drifting,
Drifters.
I tried to tell you
you were the Drifter.
But I could also see
that you wouldn't see
the way I see
when you're drifting
the way you drift...
Morning Epiphany
I had an epiphany
this mornin'.
Was funny,
cause I was thinkin’,
‘Soulmate’ must be
the most misunderstood word
ever...
‘Cause the Soul ain’t that
hollow space you feel inside
you that you try to
