I'm a writer from a small town living out all my fantasies on the page. I love the salty-sweet mix of romance and kinky sex, and to me, nothing beats hot young guys experimenting with their sexuality. When I'm not writing, I'm usually drinking too much coffee or lounging around with my lazy pets.

    Chapter 1

Looking around the bar, I was a hawk searching for my next prey. I was in my element, and I was good at what I did.

What about that guy? He’s hot!

Unfortunately, my best friend and trainee didn’t have the same skill set that I did.

I looked to the man Matt pointed out and have to stop myself from physically gagging in front of him. I looked Matt over next, only to see him bring his beer bottle to his mouth and lift it high in the air, emptying every last drop down his throat. I sighed. Matt was gone.

You need to get your eyes checked, I said over the loud music. Matt was just smiling next to me, drunk out of his mind. I hadn’t realized his limit was so low. That guy’s like…fifty years old. He’s balding.

Well, I think he’s cute, Matt said, swaying towards me and pointing a finger at my chest to defend himself. He looks stable.

Stable? I repeated in disgust. I looked back out at the old guy wearing a shirt that was way too tight and way too shiny. He wore ill-fitted jeans and wire-rimmed glasses. What was left of his hair was a dull blond color. There was no way my best friend would be flirting with him.

Matt, you’re twenty-seven years old. You don’t need stable! You need the best goddamn fuck of your life. Got it?

Matt let out a shy chuckle and waved me off. He wasn’t getting anything that I was saying. I let out an even deeper sigh.

Okay, buddy. It’s time to get you home. I think the night’s over. I couldn’t hide my disappointment. Matt wasn’t the only one who needed to get laid tonight.

I grabbed hold of his shoulder and pushed him forward through the bar, guiding him through bodies towards the door. Of course, poor Matt didn’t make it far before tripping over his own feet.

I let out a cry in surprise and tried to reach out to grab him before he fell, but he had suddenly become like a rock falling from the sky. He crashed forward, colliding with the backside of another man, taking the bystander down to the floor with him. I watched in horror as a glass went flying, crashing on the floor in front of the stranger as he too went face first into the floor. It felt as though the entire bar around me stopped to look at the commotion.

Oh my god, I said as Matt and his victim writhed around to try to get up. They ended up even more tangled together. I’m so sorry, sir!

I grabbed hold of Matt’s arm and yanked at it, pulling him up enough so that the man he had accidentally taken down could get back up. He pushed himself up off the floor with one quick, effortless motion and turned to Matt and me. The anger on his face was clear as he wiped at his chin. It had split open when he had hit the floor and was now bleeding.

I was frozen with shock, not because of what had just happened, but because it had happened to the hottest man I had ever seen in my life. His thick, black hair had become tousled and his steel blue eyes were looking at me with such cold annoyance. His pouty lips were parted as he brushed the back of his hand again over the cut on his chin.

I’m sorry, man, Matt said in a panic. He patted the stranger on his shoulder, as though that might make things better. I didn’t see you there.

The man’s cold eyes snapped to Matt, and I waited with my breath held for his reaction. His gaze softened, though, and that initial burst of anger dissipated.

Yeah, yeah, the man said in his silky voice. I understand. Get out of here. He gestured towards the door.

My daze finally went away and I regained the ability to speak.

I’m really sorry, I said with a genuine smile. My friend had a bit too much to drink. I’m getting him out of here right now. I really think you should get that looked at, though.

The man looked down at his hand, which was now smeared with blood from his chin. He let out a sigh. With a start, I saw my way in.

I’m gonna send this guy home in a taxi, I said. Why don’t you come with me? I can help you bandage that up. I have a first aid kit in my car.
