    Tom sat in the car next to John wondering what it would be like giving a pitch with John in this state. There had been a breakdown in relations between the two of them and it hadn't been just a minor squabble. That had been, as far as John was concerned, the end of their relationship and, from what Tom had heard from the others around the office, John was already looking around for a new company to join.
