It was another new job for Ted who had experience working in different information technology companies. He was still working in the upper middle level management of the company. Ted has the privilege of making some companies double their turnover and because of which he had been recruited by this new company. 

The owner of this new company had enormous positive hopes in Ted that he will make the company go up and gain a good market share. It was all about the collective decision in the company and the owner, Russell, had always given preference Ted’s thoughts. Ted was the only person in this company at the middle-upper level who had direct contact with Russell. 

Some people at Ted’s level were not happy with such relation of his with the owner. Mark has always criticized Ted’s this approach as most of the time Ted had been given extra preferences. It was not only Mark who was a bit jealous about Ted but there were a few who had always been on Mark’s side regarding Ted. 

There was only one person like Ramier who was in support of Ted and he was older than him. Whenever there used to be any kind of conflict in the company then, Ramier used to stand for Ted and he performed always positively for him. It was a project time in the company where Russell had informed the team that the best planner for this particular project would get the promotion as well as many more things from the company. 

Most of the management people were very keen about the new project and they started working on it with a lot of dedication. Most of the people were very sure about Ted’s victory as he had the experience on such projects and for similar projects he had been awarded by the company. Mark was also sure about the victory of Ted so he decided to follow another way to abolish Ted’s planning. 

He tried his best to reach to the top level but he never got satisfactory support from Russell. Mark was a very confident and famous person in that city as he was born and raised there and it was his only job from birth. He too had a very good network in the city. Mark had good connections with the local people who were known for different bedlams in the city.

Mark used this negative contact and attacked Ted while he was on the way to office in the morning.
