Brian Kevin Porter was awarded gold and silver stars for his writing at school. Coming from a family of twelve he had no choice but to go straight into factory work when leaving school. It wasn't until the year 2000 that he decided to write a column for the local newspaper due to factory closure. From this he won a silver pen. This inspired him to write his first children's bedtime short stories about a family of rabbits in a hedgerow. He enjoyed it so much he decided to write about witches and magic, Molly Perkins was born. Brian has written several stories of Molly Perkins' magical powers and adventures.
