Gars Méchant is an erotic story author that has been publishing stories for about 15 years for free online, following a period of roughly 10 years of writing junk that he wouldn't even publish for free on Usenet anonymously. Now that he is mostly done with exclusively publishing erotic short stories for free, he published his first four books toward the end of 2015: "Educating Goldilocks", "Extra Credit", "Waking Sleeping Beauty: A Novelette", and "Tired", the first of his "Vegas Cameltoe Brigade" novels. He published the short story "Oops!" at the beginning of 2016. In September of 2016, he published the first volume of "Raven & June" in five short books, and the first two novels of his "They Said..." series, "They Said: The Dare," and "They Said: The Missing File." Each of the books of this series has two stories covering the same events told from the perspective of two different participants. Other books in progress in this series are "They Said: Way Off Broadway," "They Said: The App," and "They Said: Executive Masquerade." Another work in progress connected to "They Said: Way Off Broadway" but not part of the "They Said..." series, is "Football Widows," the story of two women who let their husbands watch football at home while they go out for lunch, and a special dessert with other men! After those books, Mr. Méchant expects to start work on a new book about the reorganization of a couple of marriages in a novel tentatively titled "Seams", the second in his "Vegas Cameltoe Brigade" novels tentatively titled "On The Rocks," possibly the next book in the "Goldilocks" series, and finally a new trilogy of erotic horror novels that is currently untitled. He reserves the right to do these in any order, or to add in other works not listed here. ;) He frequently updates his website blog with information about his progress writing and publishing his books, and is likely to friend you on Facebook if you request it. He is often thought of as being an extremely nice guy, whom you would never, and I mean never, expect to write this kind of erotic fiction. He is a firm believer (and good example) of the saying "It;s always the ones you don't expect."

For me, this is an unusual book for at least two reasons: First, it is my initial collection of unrelated short stories. Usually, I publish shorter works as individual books. Second, I was asked to write it. One of the people following me on Tumblr asked me specifically to write a book with Stag in the title, saying it would probably be a first. I’m not convinced that this is a first for anyone but me, but I didn’t want to disappoint a fan, so I took the assignment.

Now, just in case this is your first exposure to the term Stag in this context, let me elucidate what a Stag is, since the term is fairly new to me as well, and this is clearly an actively evolving phenomenon, with terms being added frequently.

There are more types of partner swapping than just Swinging, which you may have figured out on your own; I certainly did. What I was unaware of until about the middle of 2016 was the exact terms used for some of those different kinds of partner swapping.

I had heard of the newer definition of Cuckold, which used to mean that a man’s wife was getting some on the side without him knowing about it. Now the term refers to a man who knows about it, but more importantly, encourages it, and derives pleasure from the humiliation caused by his wife (or girlfriend) having sex with other men.

Stags are different. In what is known as Stag Hotwifing or Stag and Bull Hotwifing the Stag (husband) is not supposed to be humiliated by his wife or girlfriend (the Hotwife, or Vixen) or by her lover (the Bull), derives no pleasure from humiliation, and could be offended if his wife, girlfriend, or the Bull tried to humiliate him. What he derives pleasure from is his wife’s pleasure at having sex with other men.

In a Stag Hotwifing relationship, the Stag is expected to remain faithful to his Hotwife (or Vixen), just as a Cuckold is. The difference is in the humiliation aspect of the relationship.

Stag Hotwifing also has a spectrum of practices. Some Stags don’t need to know about their Vixen’s adventures, while others want descriptions of them, pictures or videos from them, or even to be there while their Vixen is having sex with her Bull, sometimes participating in a more traditional three-way, but not necessarily. Some Stags pick the Bulls for their Vixen, some don’t. Some Stags even help their Vixen to get dressed for their dates. Cuckolds may do any of these things as well, but the humiliation is the key for them, where it is an annoyance or insult to the Stag.

And did you know there is a specific term for a woman who enjoys being cheated on and humiliated? Just for your information, that term is Cuckquean, pronounced KUK-queen. In that kind of relationship, the other woman is called the Cuckcake, which sounds like Cupcake. I haven’t found a female equivalent term for a Stag, but I’m looking, and this is a rapidly evolving field. It’s a term that either already exists, or will be created soon.

What you will find throughout this book is a series of otherwise unrelated short stories involving Stags and their Hotwife Vixens. There is no attempt at humiliating anyone, so if that’s your kink, then this may not be the book for you.

"You didn’t tell me how hot Mike is before you invited them over for the weekend," Jessica mentioned to me when they were too far ahead to hear us.

Just Mike? You don’t think Mike and Linda make a hot couple? I asked her.

Hmm, not really, she replied, watching them walking to the beach in front of us. They’re kind of mismatched. He’s clearly hotter than she is.

Yeah, I agree, I told her quietly as we walked onto the hot sand.

She’s a six. He’s clearly a ten, Jessica mused before quickly correcting herself: I meant a nine. Sorry, Honey. You’re a ten! She patted my cheek with a giggle.

That’s okay, Dear. I have no illusions, I reassured her. But to a guy, a six or higher is fuckable. Are you saying you would be willing to fuck her?

Oh, ha ha, she replied, sarcastically. Maybe. If I liked her, she teased.

I didn’t know you swung that way, I retorted.

One of the advantages of having a vacation home in our development was the private beach, and it was deserted that weekday. It was the perfect time of year to enjoy the water, sand, and sun without loads of families hanging out.

As we walked toward the cooler, wet sand, with the intention of setting up our chairs just beyond the water line, Jessica asked me: "Why did you invite them to join us?"

What can I say? I like Mike. He’s my closest friend at work. He’s just plain cool.

That’s it?

Yeah. Why not? And I thought maybe you and Linda could talk and get to know each other.

I’m not sure what we have in common. Why do you think they got together? she asked, absent-mindedly.

Maybe they just like each other, I suggested. I can think of worse reasons.

They just don’t look like a couple, if you know what I mean, she said.

Are you jealous? I asked.

Of course not, she said quietly as we caught up to them.

This look like a good spot? Mike asked me.

As good as any, I replied, and dropped the chairs and radio I was carrying, as Mike set down a cooler of beer, and Linda and Jessica put down lunch bags and a blanket for us to share.
