Self Publishing Tips For Writers - Tyler Wagner
Lets Publish This Thang!
Welcome back, everyone!
Things are starting to get exciting.
Everything you’ve done so far has been building up to now. At this point your book’s likely finished or almost finished. If you’re finishing up editing and design, no worries. Anyway, you’re getting ready for the one big step that will make you an official author. You’re about to self-publish your book.
I want to be really honest with you about something...
This is the point where many people fatigue out and fall away from becoming authors. Not the preparation, not the writing, not even the editing or design. Here, when they’re about to publish.
There’s a lot that goes into self-publishing a book. There are lots of steps, lots of moving parts, lots of details to keep track of. Most of the authors who don’t make it get lost and overwhelmed trying to do everything at once.
I don’t want that to happen to you.
That’s why I’ve divided the whole process up into seven books, not just one.
That’s why I’ve gone into as much detailed instruction as I can in the first four books, and will keep doing it for this book and the last two.
And that’s why this book is about one and only one thing: getting your book up onto Amazon.
We’re not going to talk about how to do your book launch. We’re not going to talk about building an email list or getting reviews or promoting on social media. We’re not going to talk about marketing at all, in fact.
All that can wait till book 6.
For now, we just want to get your book up on Amazon. That’s it.
Side note: In reality, marketing begins before you even start
