    INTRODUCTION

    Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself. ― Rumi

    We want to be happy. We want to avoid pain. That’s the summum bonum of our life. All our endeavors, all our desires, fears, hobbies, relationships, undertakings, actions, and non-actions can be boiled down to that. We are striving for happiness in its countless forms, while trying to avoid any of the myriad kinds of pain.

    This book will arm you with sufficient tools to achieve happiness. You’ll soon be assured that this is not an empty promise. But first, let us examine what actually is the source of our suffering.

    The experience of pain stems from limitations imposed to our consciousness. We are condensed into a single, limited point or part of the Universe. Our whole reality is divided into the internal and external world. I and no-I. Inside and outside. Consciousness and non-consciousness. Our inner reality is a realm of our consciousness, while the outer world is a domain which we are mostly not conscious of, except through our perception senses.

    But even our awareness within the inner realm is often very limited. Additionally, there are significant limitations imposed to our perception of these inner and outer realities. That all leads further to ever stronger separation between the internal and external world, which is additionally strengthened by the material world’s main characteristic – inertia.

    In this state of separation, in striving for happiness, we are attached to countless experiences. Our attachments can be positive or negative, i.e. those experiences that we want to have, or those that we try to avoid. When we cannot gain what we need, or when we cannot avoid what we fear, we suffer. Otherwise, we feel pleasure or we are in some sort of a neutral state. The whole spectrum of life experiences arises out of these two elementary inner forces related to the outer world – the repulsive and attractive (we can label them as fears and desires), and their countless combinations.

    Therefore, the road to freedom from suffering lies in expanding our consciousness and overcoming fears and desires. But how do we do that? It is easier said than done.

    In general, the expansion of consciousness is gradually achieved through meditation, mindfulness, prayer, and introspection.

    Fears and desires, as well as their numerous combinations and variations, are the subject of the techniques described in this book.

    Painful life experiences usually cluster within our psyche into numerous aspects of personality, such as limiting beliefs, bad decisions, traumatic memories, basic negative emotions (including fear, anger, and sorrow), resentment, guilt, prohibitions, and so on. All of them inherently have some combination of above-mentioned root causes of pain: desire and fear. And as they all have a huge impact on our lives, we must overcome all of them in order to free ourselves from misery.

    This book offers you some extremely effective mind techniques to deal with the whole range of painful experiences and their clusters in our psyche. The techniques are part of the so-called Reintegration System, a new approach to personal transformation. It uses many powerful mind techniques for spiritual growth, healing, solving problems, and achieving goals. 

    Being effectively part of a more comprehensive book, Inner Peace, Outer Success, this practical guide explains the foundation of the Reintegration System: the core techniques. It is filled with many accounts of real life, which is important for better understanding the system and easier application of the presented methods. I try to avoid theorizing, unless absolutely necessary, in order to better explain the background of techniques.

    When it comes to the descriptions of techniques, exercises or instructions, you’ll find a lot of illustrations in this book. From my experience, lack of pictures and illustrations sometimes poses a challenge for people that are more visually inclined to grasp the material. The same implications could stem from a lack of other modes of content: auditory, kinesthetic, etc. Please feel free to modify the instructions into whichever learning mode or shape is most natural to you. For example, you could either look from your heart or listen or feel from it, or any other formulation, as long as it suits your natural inclinations and preserves the overall spirit of an instruction.

    After explaining the core concepts of the Reintegration System, in the first part of this book you will find descriptions of five simple techniques that are essential for all other elements of the system. The techniques are Dissolving the Temporary I, Moving to the Heart, Dissolving the Temporary I plus, Gentle Touch of Presence and Freshness and Acceptance.

    You are free to perform these procedures in your everyday life as many times as you want. They are each invaluable on their own and you will surely achieve many great improvements as you practice them. As far as I know, they are quite unique and I don’t think that you would succeed in finding anything similar to them on the internet. Most specifically, this stands true for the Dissolving the Temporary I, Moving to the Heart and Dissolving the Temporary I plus. They will enable you to quickly and efficiently remove any negative thoughts, emotions or sensations, allowing the creation of your desired, positive state of mind.

    The other two basic techniques, Gentle Touch of Presence and Freshness and Acceptance, are a refinement of pre-existing ideas and teachings, but they will also be essential for some areas of your practice. They are precious and extremely convenient tools in any situation as well.

    You will also find auxiliary procedures that will be helpful in your practice (although not as essential as the above-mentioned techniques): the Relaxation and Manual Muscle Testing. The Relaxation, although a well-known and very common technique in many areas of human inner development, in this book is actually enriched with some applications of basic Reintegration techniques. The Manual Muscle Testing is widely practiced in applied kinesiology, a part of alternative medicine. Although its practical results are not scientifically confirmed, I really find it helpful in some areas of life and especially of this system so I deemed it worth including it in this book as well.

    If you decide to practice the whole Reintegration System and completely transform your life, you will have to learn some of these main Reintegration techniques: Inner Triangle, Simplified Inner Triangle, Single Chain, Double Chain and Convergence Procedure. They are comprehensive and elegant methods with which you will be smoothly solving any problem in your life, as well as various negative states of mind, like depression, fear, anger, negative beliefs, and so forth.

    All of these main techniques, I would boldly say, are revolutionary in the field. You will surely find them to be extremely effective and comprehensive. After having absorbed the main techniques, you will be ready for a more systematic approach and serious work on your personal transformation, as well as for work on goal achievement. That is the focus of other books from the Reintegration Fundamentals series, and also of the original edition of Inner Peace, Outer Success.

    After learning the basic techniques, you will be able to solve problems, improve relationships, enjoy regular meditation, practice mindfulness, properly heal, and even accomplish comprehensive reintegration work. Then, when you add the Inner Triangle technique and the Convergence Procedure, you will be able to exploit the full potential of the Reintegration System. With your new skill-set, the possibilities are boundless.

    Indeed, there is no limit to your life. It depends only on you. You will get the required methods and information, but ultimately, you will be the one who takes the action.

    PART I: THE CONCEPT

    Here you will be introduced to the foundations of the Reintegration System—the very structure of all our experiences, what we can do with them, and the basic principles of dealing with them.

    Although we may be eager to remove or change an unwanted experience, or to quickly create a desired one, we have to be careful in that process. Perhaps that unpleasant event helped you grow into a more mature person, and it would ultimately be better to accept the event as it happened, as an integral part of your history. Or, maybe that desired experience would not benefit your spiritual or psychological development, and instead dull or corrupt you in the long run.

    Thankfully, the techniques presented in this book will give you the tools to safely transform all types of mind content, eliminating entirely the risk of losing a valuable life lesson or piece of your past, and deepening your understanding of personal development. You will learn how to control your thoughts, emotions, sensations, traumas, goals, and sometimes even illnesses through this robust system.

    The biggest strength of the Reintegration System is that it covers so many areas of personal development: spiritual growth, meditation, solving problems, healing, interpersonal relations and comprehensive integration of personality. It was carefully designed to cover all these fields through removing, changing or creating the content of one’s mind.

    As said before, this book covers the basic, main and auxiliary techniques of the System and their successful application.

    The main pillars of the methodology are the following:

    There exists an underlying reality, which is supreme and perfect, independent of time and space, yet subtly present in all phenomena. In turn, that Divine presence[1] can transform every experience in the best possible way.

    Everything is interconnected. The apparent separation of entities is an illusion; the subject and his experience are inseparable.

    Our external world is but a mirror of our inner being. Therefore, everyone is completely responsible for their own life.

    All apparently negative inner structures have a genuinely positive origin and purpose. We must not fight any perceived negativity—we should face it, accept it, transform it and thusly reintegrate it.

    This is a world of polarities; every imperfect state has its own imperfect, opposite state. Every negativity should be dealt with alongside its opposite.

    Some of these assertions may seem a bit implausible. Yet, many are backed by and based on contemporary scientific discoveries.

    For example, the first principle has its corresponding approach in quantum physics: the implicate order as postulated by David Bohm, one of the most influential American theoretical physicists of all time.[2] He assumed that there was an underlying ground, the implicate order, from which whole reality, the explicate order, emerges. Within the explicate order, the closest analogies to the first principle could be found in the notions of quantum vacuum and light. This postulate will be applied specifically in the Gentle Touch of Presence procedure, but is also present throughout the techniques for healing, meditation sittings, and mindfulness. 

    Also from quantum physics is the quantum entanglement effect, the spooky action at the distance, the experiments which strongly indicate our interconnectedness at a quantum particle level.  This principle will be employed in the basic Reintegration
