About this ebook
Are zombies real? As far as we know, dead people do not come back to life and start walking around, looking for trouble. But there are things that can take over the bodies and brains of innocent creatures, turning them into senseless slaves. Meet nature's zombie makers—including a fly-enslaving fungus, a suicide worm, and a cockroach-taming wasp—and their victims.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5For Juvenile audience but this old guy enjoyed the book; found it interesting and informative. Was not aware of nature's Zombie makers.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This would be a good read for any tweens and some teens who are reluctant readers interested in science, especially the gross and weird, or just in zombies (as it would lead them to learn about real naturally occurring cases of parasites taking over their hosts). There is also a glossary and further resource section included.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Examines real-life accounts of zombies in nature, including a fly-enslaving fungus, a suicide worm, and a cockroach-taming wasp, and related topics.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Great subject! Fascinating, informative, creepy, and gross. Excellent photographs.
