This book is an informational guide for those who are wanting to self-publish their book but also do it as inexpensively as possible.
This book is what I've learned in the past few years. Some things might not be correct, but it has worked for me so far. I knew very little about publishing when I began. Now, I find myself much more comfortable when I restart the process for a new project. Despite this, I know there is still more for me to learn.
Although I have experience, I do not know everything under the sun. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to seek advice from qualified professionals during your adventures in self-publishing. This might include lawyers or accountants. What I can tell you is just a broad overview. A professional accountant or lawyer will be able to describe in vast detail what needs to be done and exactly why.
Also, this book assumes that you have chosen to go with the Print On Demand model. If you're looking into beginning your own publishing business or how to get published traditionally, this is not the advice you need.
Chapter 1: Choosing A Model and Publisher
First I would like to say congratulations! It's a long and sometimes difficult process to finish writing a book and you've survived!
The question now is what to do with it?
People often think that the only option is to have your book published
