    Introduction

    This book is intended as a roadmap, a mark in the sand if you will for novelists, non-fiction authors and those looking to start their own book publishing business.

    There are so many topics that could be covered in a book of this nature it would be impossible to get everything in it. There will be more books, I’m sure but if you have a near finished project and you are looking for a 101 in self-publishing you’re in the right place.

    So, what qualifies me to write this book?

    To keep it brief (and there is more detail in the About the Author section), I’ve been involved in publishing since the age of 14 when myself and a few cartoonist friends produced a comic book. Later on I published a more professional version and then discovered the Kindle and Publish on Demand in 2011. Since then, I have set up a small Indie imprint called Dark Paradigm Publishing for Fiction
