About this ebook
Another World War is upon us, this time on North American soil. Soldier Jeremy Simmons is shot as bombs fall on Toronto. A little boy only he can see gives him a gift of his handkerchief and one strange word. As Jeremy sits healing in the hospital, unable to help his premature daughter and comatose wife, his grandfather sheds a small light on the little boy. Slowly, as Jeremy watches over his family, he figures out the boy's hidden and life-changing message.

The bombs were falling with dismaying speed. The crowds were fleeing in panic and children were screaming as their families tried to keep them safe. Unlike the civilians, soldiers were running into action, weapons brandished not only in patriotism, but also in fear.
Fear was the only thing on Jeremy Simmons’ mind. He had been drafted just six months before and had just gotten out of boot camp
