About this ebook

"Of Course It's Obvious" by Arem R. Jayar is a book of verses for people who are trying to figure out how to live life "right". Idealistically realistic or is it realistically idealistic, the ideas are meant to help people be aware of how and what they think as well as being aware of what they do and even trying to be aware of what the end results might be. There is definitely a non denominational Biblical influence, but the book is meant to be applicable in the "real world", with all its consequences for both wrong and right actions. "Of Course It's Obvious" is, of course, not always obvious, but much of it is. You might need a book for it though, because life in a "modern" civilization can push basic and obvious things to the back of your soul..

Author

Arem R Jayar

Arem R. Jayar is the nom de plum of a person who would use their real name if they enjoyed “the publicity thing.” Arem “has to” rather than enjoys writing. Arem also has a job, enjoys it enough to want to keep it and doubts that constant time off for marketing would be appreciated by co workers and management. He also thinks that "the message is more important than the messenger" and that, unlikely as it may be, celebrity would detract from any good that the book could do.Arem says that he writes this stuff just to keep his feet on that ground that is at the intersection of idealism, reality and cynicism. Arem hopes that this book puts some reality into the idealism and vice versa.Arem DOES hope and intend that this little book makes an acceptable and useful difference in the lives of the people that read it.

    Of Course, It's Obvious...

    Of Course, It's Obvious

can be a way of calling you stupid.

    Of Course, It's Obvious

can mean, Yeah I know how, but I'm not telling you.

    Of Course, It's Obvious

can mean that you have been on autopilot so long

that you can't describe it anymore.

    Of Course, It's Obvious

can also mean that you finally get it.

    Of Course, It's Obvious

    can also mean eureka.

    Of Course, It's Obvious

means that it obviously ain't obvious.

    Of Course, It's Obvious

    Here's to eureka.

    Arem R. Jayar

    Perfectly Imperfect

    The world is

    perfectly imperfect.

    We are all

    perfectly imperfect.

The differences are the beauty and the character,

    perfectly imperfect.

    Each one unique,

    perfectly imperfect.

    New things to learn,

    perfectly imperfect.

    The cure to boredom,

    perfectly imperfect.

    Something to do,

    perfectly imperfect.

    Created

    perfectly imperfect.

    The beauty of the universe,

    perfectly imperfect.

The source of diversity and variety,

    perfectly imperfect.

Perhaps perfection is not the same as precision,

    perfectly imperfect.

Perhaps there are different kinds of precision,

    perfectly imperfect.

    Perhaps perfection is a variable,

    perfectly imperfect.

    God made things

    perfectly imperfect.

    God has His reasons.

    Open to God...

    When you open to God,

He can let you see for miles and years.

    When you open to God,

you might not need a mirror to see yourself.

    When you open to God,

He can let you see the people around you better.

    When you open to God,

He can let you see past your fears.

    When you open to God,

you might get to see what you can do.

    When you open to God,

    your priorities might change.

    When you open to God,

He can open doors that you did not know about.

    When you open to God,

everything changes, even if it stays the same.

    When you open to God,

then you already know that it is time.

    Open to God.

    What You Need...

    What you need

    is always available.

    What you need

    is provided by nature.

    What you need

    you must only look for.

    What you need

may not be what you want.

    What you need

is most often blocked only by you,

in the form of fear, pride, arrogance and/or ignorance.

    What you need

    is very basic.

    What you need

is supplied by how you treat life.

    What you need

    is affected by your attitude.

    What you need

can be had by asking, looking, working and giving.

    What you need

    is provided by God,

    always there.

    What you need

    is to open your eyes.

    What you need

    is to understand.

    What you need

    is to actually live.

    Just Look

    Just look

    without deciding.

    Just look,

see what is in front of you.

    Just look,

see past your wishes and fears.

    Just look,

    don't even describe.

    Just look

    without interpretation.

    Just look,

    see.

    Just look,

    hear.

    Just look,

    feel.

    Just look,

    see what is there.

    Just look,

    be aware.

    Just look,

    exist.

    Just look,

    let real be real.

    Just look,

    realize.

    Just look,

    seek truth.

    Just look,

    what is, is.

    The Truth is There

    The Truth is there

for anyone who looks to see.

    The Truth is there,

    but not everyone looks.

    The Truth is there,

you might like it, you might not.

    The Truth is there,

but there can be many sides to it.

    The Truth is there,

    and there is basic truth.

    The Truth is there,

acknowledging without denial is part of recognizing it.

    The Truth is there,

but some people are not interested.

    The Truth is there,

but it sometimes takes practice to really see it.

    The Truth is there,

no one can tell you what to see.

    The Truth is there,

it sometimes helps to listen to others.

    The Truth is there,

arguing about it is not searching for it.

    The Truth is there,

it is your responsibility to honestly recognize it.

    The Truth is there,

being able to see it is a gift and a test from God.

    The Truth is there,

    open your eyes.

    The Truth is there,

    accept it.

    Likely

    It is likely

    that you will be surprised.

    It is likely

    that you will be happy.

    It is likely

    that you will be disappointed.

    It is likely

that you will take blame not yours.

    It is likely

you will avoid punishment you deserve.

    It is likely

you will succeed at something you try.

    It is likely

    you will experience failure.

    It is likely

    you should be grateful.

    It is likely

    that you will be ignorant.

    It is likely

    you will discover something.

    It is likely

    you will be cheated.

    It is likely

    you will get an opportunity.

    It is likely

    you will experience boredom.

    It is likely

    that you will be overwhelmed.

    It is likely

you will have to make a decision.

    It is likely

    you will experience confusion.

    It is likely

    you will survive.

    Silence

    Silence

can be a sign of wisdom.

    Silence

can be a confession of ignorance.

    Silence

    can be a blessing.

    Silence

    can be monotonous.

    Silence

can be an escape from danger.

    Silence

can be a crime in the presence of injustice and evil.

    Silence

    can drive you crazy.

    Silence

    can restore sanity.

    Silence

    can be a statement.

    Silence

    can be simple quiet.

    Alone

    Alone

    is not necessarily lonely.

    Alone

is the natural state of every living creature.

    Alone

    is not a bad thing.

    Alone

    becomes loneliness for the insecure.

    Alone

    we are born.

    Alone

    we die.

    Alone

    we live.

    Alone

must be handled to earn true companionship.

    Alone,

because you are the only one you can really know.

    Alone

is the way you face yourself.

    Alone

is the way you face others.

    Alone

you can open any door you choose.

    Alone

is the only state to produce true prayer.

    Alone

is the way you must face God.

    You Can Care

    You can care

and this is good for you by itself.

    You can care,

but expecting others to care might be too much to ask.

    You can care

and no one can stop you.

    You can care,

    don’t be afraid.

    You can care,

even though you might get hurt.

    You can care,

it will make you stronger, no matter what happens.

    You can care,

this includes the effort to understand.

    You can care

and it will make you more alive.

    You can care

and you might decide to not care.
