About the Author
Prologue
Gambling has always been a human pastime. And, quite often it becomes a professional occupation. The game of Texas hold ’em has been the most popular poker game in America for some time.
The game has straight-forward rules that vary little from place-to-place in America. This enables poker tournaments to be staged in almost any environment and even on TV. The sums invested also vary according to the origination of the game. Small sums are gambled in social games, while large sums are played for in casinos and private locations. These larger sum-games are described in this story with players experienced in the game, who also enjoy the company of the players and their backgrounds. Many of the characters in this book are based on actual experiences of the author…especially the descriptions in details.
Enjoy.
