Bill Clinton - The Truth - Martin Squire
INTRODUCTION
William Jefferson Clinton was president of the United States from 1993 to 2001. He was well regarded and had his fair share of controversy during the time he was president. However, not a lot of people have looked at his life overall to see what has added up to create the person who some believe to be one of the most beloved people in American History. While there are many bits of information on Bill Clinton that will be set forth here, it seems that people like to focus only on a couple of things about each president instead of remembering what it was like before and during the time they were in office.
Throughout his years as President Bill Clinton, he had done quite a bit for the United States of America that not many people have thought about or were even aware of. This is due to the fact that his time as president was shrouded in controversy over a few different issues. This has clouded the fact that he had many accomplishments while he was in office and did a lot for the country.
It should be noted that facts presented here about President Clinton are all from reliable sources. Quotes may have been paraphrased to fit within the context of some of the chapters following this introduction, but they can all be found easily by looking for quotes by Bill Clinton. The research is sound, but there will be times when the reader may notice certain items presented aren't exactly what have been said. If this happens, then it will be noted to do a little extra research on the matter.
So many presidents have promised to make changes and, unlike them, Bill Clinton took a lot of action on what he was promising to others at the time. He took the country and pushed it further than it had been in recent memory. The media and others tended to ignore the fact that he was working hard to make life a little easier for everyone, which is a shame for the most part. Sure, the controversy and some of the things said were great for television, but they hardly represent who Bill Clinton really was behind the scenes.
There will always be many half-truths and things of that nature about anyone who has been in the spotlight. Without hearing exactly what was said within the walls of the White House, it's impossible to determine what exactly went on. That's not to say that the history of the 42nd president hasn't been recorded, but it does pay to do some reading up on each fact to get a true idea of when what was said and where.
When all is said and done, it takes quite a bit of support from the people to become the most well known person in America, who basically is Commander in Chief and holds the highest office possible. Without these leaders, the country would fall apart and nothing would get done. The chaos that would occur without a strong
