"The Murders in the Rue Morgue" is a short story by Edgar Allan Poe published in Graham's Magazine in 1841. It has been claimed as the first detective story; Poe referred to it as one of his "tales of ratiocination".C. Auguste Dupin is a man in Paris who solves the mysterious brutal murder of two women. Numerous witnesses heard a suspect, though no one agrees on what language was spoken. At the murder scene, Dupin finds a hair that does not appear to be human.As the first true detective in fiction, the Dupin character established many literary devices which would be used in future fictional detectives including Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot. Many later characters, for example, follow Poe's model of the brilliant detective, his personal friend who serves as narrator, and the final revelation being presented before the reasoning that leads up to it. Dupin himself reappears in "The Mystery of Marie Roget" and "The Purloined Letter".

This story is a mystery. A strange murder was occured, two women were killed by someone. How was it occured?When I knew this murder's killer, I was surprised and little disappointed. It's interesting story, but I thought the murder was very unexpected. So, if you want to deduce carefully, I don't recommend this.

Three o'clock in the morning, the mysterious murder happened. The room was on the fourth floor, and the door was locked on the inside. The windows were closed and fastened on the inside, too. Everyone didn't know how the murderer escaped, but Auguste Dupin, a clever man, could solve the mystery.This story was very exciting! To be frank, I don't like mystery and crime, but I enjoyed reading it. Auguste Dupin is really a clever man, and he is cool! I want to read other stories written by Edgar Allan Poe.

In the Rue Morgue, so terrible murder was happend.The daughter was putted in the chimney and the mother was in the small yard - their house was fourth floor ! The door was locked inside and the windows were closed.Dupin and his friend began to solve this puzzle.I like this story's style that two people cooperate to solve the problem because it's like Sherlock Holmes and John H Watson.However I knew the real murderer , I was so disappointed. I felt a murder case behind locked doors is meeningless.

Monsieur Auguste Dupin is not a policeman or a detective, but he is very clever and can understand many things. One day, a terrible murders was occurred. He was interested in this case, because there were no answers to the mystery.I know Sherlock Homes, but had ever known about Dupin. However, I was fascinated with him. When the murders happen on the fourth fioor,the door was looked and the furnitures was crumpled.In addition,the woman and her daughter were killed in strang ways.There were some witnesses,but they said different things about criminal's language.Who did kill them and why werethey killed and how didi criminal escape from the room...? It's mystery that i like.I couldn't guess who kills them and how other misteries happen.I was surprised at knowing who is criminal.
