INTRODUCTION
Living – A Path Upward
If we were just animals, all competing with each other to survive in the moment, with no rules of order or society, then we might expect other animals to eat us, so we better protect ourselves. We would be ready for other animals to try and eat us so we are prepared to fight and to survive, and we would not trust any animals. That is all we know. We would be constantly on the lookout and constantly on the edge ready to strike.
But in most parts of the world we are not just animals. We are educated, and we have little to fear (except bad criminals who are like animals). So we live our daily lives according to the customs and laws of where we live. We live in relative peace. But we may not be fully aware of the types of people who will harm us as we live our lives. We need to protect ourselves from people who do not care about our lives and only care about their own lives at the expense of ours.
I define Takers as people who focus only on taking from others and keeping for their own good. Normally, this is not a one-time event. A Taker will find victims they can train to keep supplying them on a daily basis. These victims lose their own identities and are trapped by the Takers. Avoiding Takers teaches everyone who a Taker is, what Takers do, and how to avoid them—all skills everyone needs to know and practice. If you are a victim, you will learn how to escape from a Taker and join support groups so you permanently stay away from Takers.
You might say these people, these Takers, are a minor annoyance in modern society. Normally, they break no laws and they are just trying to get by the best way they know how. Some say they only hurt naive people (i.e., victims) who should know better. I say, anyone that intentionally takes your future (a Taker) or prevents your future (a Turd Thrower - TTers) is a person you MUST learn how to get way from to successfully live your life. And it only requires a few Takers or TTers to enslave a vast majority of people, and these victims may not ever know they gave up their lives to a Taker. Let’s free everyone to live their fullest life, not enslaved to Takers and Turd Throwers who actually plan and do enslave people. Let’s get people back on their Path of Life.
This book is for those who are climbing up the Path of Life to growth and joy. It is for those who want to live your dream (i.e. your Pointing After or Experidigm) for your life, not live the dream that someone else wants you to live or markets to you. This book is for those who visualize their future and have the energy to get there, not for those who are content and want to stay exactly where they are in life. For those who want to get away from the people holding them back from their life, we have the approaches for you to get free and get on your exciting Path of Life.
The Path of Life is simple. You have a visualization of where you want to go and what you want to experience for now (i.e. it gets better with each vision), and you connect with others and get their assistance and reach your visualization. You have a series of visualizations and you keep evolving. How to evolve is the essence of my book Choosing Up-Attain All. Sometimes, as you Choose Up and begin your change, people from the status quo will try to stop you and keep you where you are in their status quo. I show you how to deflect these status quo Turd Throwers (TTers) in my book Soaring to Awesome-Turd Throwers Beware. What I did not discuss publicly in any of my books is that there are other harmful people in addition to TTers and these people I call Takers. Takers stop you from entering your Path of Life by focusing you on their life. They keep you so busy solving their problems and doing for them that you have no time for your own life. This book teaches how to break free and avoid Takers, and get on with your own Path of Life.
In Part One, what a Taker looks like is clearly defined. After reading this Part, a Taker will stand out in a crowd and you will be able to avoid them easily.
In Part Two, all the signs the Taker shows are discussed and highlighted so you will not be trapped by them.
In Part Three, if you listen closely to people, they say certain phrases that display their philosophy of acting in life. Each key phrase of a Taker is explored, as well as phrases used by caring people who share their lives.
In Part Four, the key questions are discussed about why there are Takers and where they are located. The answers will not surprise you.
In Part Five, the question, how does one really know if they are being Taken, is addressed. The answer seems obvious, but if you are being manipulated by a Taker, the answer is not clear.
In Part Six, one must act if you know you are a victim of a Taker. You must avoid them and get on your Path of Life.
In Part Seven, the best way to make progress in life is to practice. So, practice.
In Part Eight, the world seems dominated by Takers who unite to gain even more benefit for themselves. Yet, the world has a history of having sharers move the world forward to a brighter future. Takers never bring a brighter future for everyone and they always fail, but they create causalities of caring people.
In Part Nine, Takers learn what they can do to rehabilitate and be a contributing member of society.
In Part Ten, all Taker victims understand how they can create their new future and get on their Path of Life.
