Jessica Barnes

Jessica Barnes is a gynosexual who writes erotica that tends to be futa-on-female. She loves throwing futas and lesbians together in a blender with a pinch of adventure and a half-shaker of spice to see what happens. When not writing, she’s crawling the local lesbian bars.

    Introduction

Is this hell, or is the devil even afraid of this place? Lyric thought dramatically as he fanned himself with the report that he was supposed to be viewing.

Lyric Davis Jones! That report is to be read by this afternoon! Do you hear me? Dr. Sern shouted from his office.

Yeah yeah, Lyric rolled his eyes. Some of his co-workers began to whisper and sneer. He didn’t understand why Dr. Sern insisted upon using his full name, or maybe Sern did it on purpose because he knew it bothered him. Either way, he hated this summer internship but it was the only one that actually pays. Soon, he would have his graduate degree and he could bid farewell to this cramped basement in the bottom of T.I.M.E., the Technical Institute for Magnificent Experiments.

Lyric skimmed the report to find the results were yet again negative. For weeks, they had been working on a microwave that prepares food from a powder but the food just ends up disappearing. What can you do? He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair but realized too late that this only made them disgustingly drenched.

Just as he did so, there was a knock on his cubicle. It was that pretty girl from sector eight. She was one of the few who might actually be in his age range which was surprising because he had thought he was the youngest of his class at the mere age of seventeen. Yet here she was, and everyone said she was one of the brightest on staff at this facility. As if that wasn’t enough, her voice was like an angel when she spoke, Hi there! You’re new right?

Yeah, what of it? He tried to wipe the sweat off smoothly but it left a greasy stain on his jeans - probably from the pizza he had for lunch. Could this get any worse?

I’m also new, well that is, until you got here, of course, her voice trailed off nervously and she began to fiddle with her hands. He heard snickers from down the hall. So that’s how it is, he thought, Well two can play at this.

Cool, he said and pretended to actually read the report.

Oh, I see you’re busy. Maybe we could go for coffee after work then? It would be nice to talk. Not many of the other-

He cut her off, Not interested.

    What? Why?

    Don’t like coffee.

Well it doesn’t have to be-

Look, I get it, he snapped, They put you up to this. But I already figured it out, so the jokes over!

Hey I was just trying to be friendly!

Oh don’t play dumb! This is all part of a bet, right?

A bet?! she was surprisingly sincere, Oh because they’re laughing? They’re laughing because they think we’re idiots… but that makes us two of a kind, right?

Ah, sorry, heat rose to his face, Then sure?

Sure? What do you mean sure?

To the coffee… thing or whatever.

She laughed, Great! Thanks! See you after then!

He waved after her, Yeah, he mumbled.
