Will waited impatiently for the seniors to shuffle slowly into class. It never failed that even minutes after the bell rang there would be several stragglers. You would think four years of high-school would have acclimated them to the correlation between the bell ringing and class starting. The 36-year-old English teacher just shook his head as the final students slipped into class. Most high school seniors tended to suffer from the dreaded ‘Senioritis’ – especially in the spring semester when the weather was getting warmer and the light at the end of the tunnel grew brighter. Still, it bothered him to no end.

One student, in particular, had been a thorn in his side the entire semester. Her name was Taylor.

Taylor Jordan was, as usual, one of the last ones through the door – well after the bell had rung. She always had an excuse handy, but Will had long since stopped asking since he knew the real reason she was late always had to do with maintaining her social status as the ‘it’ girl. She was as trite as a Hollywood movie role; captain of the cheerleading squad, dating one of the star football players, and a tall, leggy blonde with striking blue eyes. Her beauty was tempered greatly by her attitude – which Will thought was arrogant and condescending at best. He didn’t consider himself a vengeful or spiteful person, but something about Taylor Jordan just rubbed him the wrong way; she embodied everything he hated about her generation. She was spoiled and carried a haughty sense of entitlement everywhere she went, as if whoever she was speaking to should feel honored to be graced with her presence.

Unfortunately for Taylor, she was about to be humbled more than anyone had ever dared.

Will had long since had enough of her, and had concocted a plan to bring some humility to the girl – and not a small degree of pleasure to himself. Taylor’s arrogance regarding her beauty was well deserved – she was absolutely stunning. On more than one occasion, due to the provocative outfits she had worn, Will had found it extraordinarily difficult to concentrate on his lesson.

At 5’8" the girl was blessed with breasts far larger than average – Will guessed, at least, a large C cup. She liked to accentuate her hourglass shape by wearing form fitting clothes that showed off her body, a body sculpted by hours at the gym and cheer practice. Her long, slender legs and the rest of the skin she showed off was deep tan thanks to regular sessions at the salon. Her blonde hair had highlights of red streaked through it, and her blue eyes were like the color of the Caribbean.

Had he been her age, he might have tried approaching her more directly. He was a handsome man, for age. He was roughly Taylor’s height, with short dark-brown hair peppered with the first streaks of gray near his temples. He thought it made him look rather distinguished, even if it did belie his age. As a fitness aficionado and regular obstacle-racer, he was in incredible shape, and most likely in better shape than a lot of the scrubs on their 2-8 football team. He had a lean, muscular build underneath the required ‘uniform’ of a buttoned-down shirt and slacks, and more than a few tattoos from his earlier days that were thankfully concealed by his sleeves and other garments. His deep brown eyes were bright with an intelligence that seemed like it never shut off – the wheels inside his head always churning and scheming.
