Lembeck’s book is a virtual road map to optimizing your mental game. 1-2-3... Buy the book! Tsssss...
~Mike Krause
National Youth Coach of the Year
"The one aspect that sets apart the good from the great is the mental aspect. I've read a few mental training books before, but none compare to The Way of a Wrestling Guru. I’ve implemented G’s M.O. and am already seeing phenomenal results. It’s a great book for any and all wrestlers, and I highly recommend it."
~Alyssa Lampe
USA Women’s Wrestling Champion 48 KG
"Evolving as a young coach, I have spent more time these past three years working on our mental edge and our mental preparation than ever before. I wish I would have had this information and understood the importance of mental training back when I competed. 90% Mental is the ‘how to’ on winning the mental game."
~Dave Malecek, Head Wrestling Coach
University of Wisconsin, Lacrosse

Please note that several of the quotes in the book are not credited to an author. The lion’s share of these quotes with no name
should be attributed to the original and fantastically famous authors from which they were inspired.
A smidgeon of the credit might also go with the guru, for he says the quotes are both a gentle reminder and a fun example of how even a small change to something, anything, can have an amazingly profound effect.
Moreover, I believe the guru, in true consummate teacher fashion, uses these quotes to also show us the uniquely close and harmonious relationship that he feels exists between the two things he loves the most – wrestling and life.
Please enjoy.
Dedication
To the 200 + mentors, teachers and guides, both dead and alive who’ve helped me learn the winning mindset to wrestling and beyond. And to the two awesome angels who came down from heaven to help me write and especially complete this book. Your support, encouragement and undying faith made a believer of me and for this I am eternally grateful.

Introduction
WRESTLING IS THE world’s oldest and greatest sport. In its seed, wrestling is a potent form of expression and similar to painting masterpieces, composing symphonies, or writing great prose, it’s a graceful form of art. Wrestling is poetry in motion. Moreover, even though there are limited types of bodies, a healthy set of rules and only one objective, you’ll never see two wrestling styles exactly the same—kind of like snowflakes. Within a living, breathing, and thriving matrix of focused thought and infinite possibilities dwells a dancing and ever-expanding universe of wrestling energy. It is eclipsed only by its endless levels of unseen works embodied in a constant, unwavering and passionate pursuit of perfection.
In a way, due to wrestling’s great physical and mental demands, it’s amazingly close to the collective consciousness, the infinite Source, God. God’s most cherished
