FEAR OF FLYING

On what he hates...

I've always been terrified of flying. The seats always seem far too small for my big frame and the takeoff always far too fast. Today I am on the long flight from Los Angeles to Paris and I seriously don't want to be here.

The loud scratching of my fingers grinding gouges in the soft red cushion of the seats armrests accompanies my anxiety. The fabric has enough white trails running up it - like a piece of artwork to my fear – that my anxiety is on display to all that might look my way in the sleepy, dimly lit cabin.
