The sort that most airlines now make you pay extra for, as if it’s a privilege to be asked before take-off if all your limbs are in working order and if, ‘in the unlikely event of an emergency’, you’re willing to battle with a bulky door and face the screaming unknown, while those in other, less expensive rows are safely cowering in
