    Why I Wrote This Book

    It worked, and Sarah was so thrilled! Can you imagine what it is like for a 23-year-old woman to be 48 pounds above the high limit on the weight chart? According to all her girlfriends, she has a pretty face. She’s just finished her BA in marketing and has a great new job. Everything is great except one little thing – well, not so little. She was almost in tears as she stared at that weight chart. Then, she found the program. She did her best. She obeyed all the strict requirements and even learned to tolerate Pilates.

    Those 48 pounds disappeared. As a bonus, Sarah lost an extra two pounds to make it an even 50. What’s more, she did it in just over four months! Incredible. All her friends at work were excited and ready to introduce her to their brothers.

    It seemed like overnight, but one afternoon, Sarah stepped on the scales at the doctor’s office and saw a painful truth. All 50 of those vanishing pounds had returned, bringing 12 more with them! The nurse said not to be too upset, it happens that way a lot. Then again, the nurse could use a good diet!
