Dedication
First and foremost, I thank my Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. It is only by his grace and mercy that this was even accomplished. Without you, I can do nothing. To my mother, Priscilla Kay Curry, to my wife, Carolyn Curry, to Devolia Chappell, my friend and faithful counselor, to my father, William Robinson, and to my grandfathers and my grandmothers, those still here and those that have gone on to glory. I pray that this small portion of my journey will be a blessing to many.
To any and all others who have been or are dealing with the same or similar circumstances as I found myself in, thank you in advance for allowing me to share my experience and speak into your lives, wherever you may be. Finally, to all of the men and women of God as mentioned throughout the book who have influenced me through the years and to those who have witnessed my journey and transformation.

About the Author
Excerpt from Book Two
Foreword - A1
When someone shares their innermost thoughts and experiences with others, it is a precious gift. The biblical writer said, For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of man which is in him?
In his book, Brian Curry talks about the little house he was raised in with a picture window in front that let all passersby look directly into the living room and kitchen of their home. This is exactly what he has done with this book, From the Eyes of a Son to the Heart of a Father. He has given us a window that lets the reader see into his heart of hearts,
and the amazing treasures there will keep you reading for the next discovery of spiritual gold and riches.
I was especially blessed by the revelations on prodigal fathers
from scripture, a subject with very little commentary in Christian writings, and the revelation of the unsung hero,
whose fatherhood has been overlooked in the Bible. Anyone who reads this book will be moved with emotions of joy and deeply challenged by the rich teachings that can be shared one to one
or from any pulpit in the land. As a spiritual father to Brian, I can say that he is a beloved son in the faith.

Foreword - A2
In this book, Brian seamlessly weaves insights and moments from his past into the fabric of his current life with the fundamental thread that ensures a quality product. That thread is Faith. This is a journey of revelation, a guidebook of applied principles and God thoughts that are capable of finding and extracting the greatness in each of us. You will find a stream to walk beside, rivers to wade in, and oceans to ponder in this book, a book that leads to the love of God, a love that is clearer to me after leaving the last page of this book.

Foreword - A3
I would like to first start this forward off by saying congratulations to Brian on his first of many books. This book is packed with life changing insight and revelation from God by way of inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The wisdom in this book has the ability to impact any life that is looking to continue to grow at whatever stage you presently are in. As a spiritual leader, I understand that we all must continue to grow and develop.
There are multiple life changing messages lodged inside this life instructing, insightful, impacting, and imparting book. I came away excited, encouraged, and energized. It’s inspirational and very intellectually crafted. The messages inside this book should be taught from prisons, pulpits, and platforms of all types and levels in this world.
I invite you to make this a part of your arsenal. From the Eyes of a Son the Heart of a Father will equip and arm you with a stable, strong, and successful life. God Bless you and your family Brian, and thank you for letting God turn the pain and pressure of your past into the power that would push your purpose into progression and prosperity. As a spiritual leader, I cover you. As your brother, I keep you, and as your friend I congratulate you again.

Introduction
Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
—2 Corinthians 3:17 (NKJV)
Initially, this book was written from a place of pain, but as the Lord continued to enlighten me along the journey, not only did He bring healing and understanding to my soul, He stretched me from a painful place into a position of power and thereby caused the writing of this message to evolve. I now share some of the pain, the places, and the power with you in hopes that my journey and experiences may be a blessing to others and help to heal the wounded hearts of men and women everywhere who are dealing with or have dealt with the same or similar issues pertaining to fatherhood, both as the parent and the child. It is my prayer that this will help you to walk in the power of the liberation that comes through Jesus Christ.
"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear."
-Jesus (KJV)
Small Beginnings
Grant Town, a tiny, little coal mining camp on the outskirts of Fairmont, West Virginia, north of Clarksburg and south of Morgantown, founded in 1900. Population seventy-five, dogs and cats included. I’m kidding, but not by much. According to the 2000 consensus, the population was 613. I’m sure it was probably just a little higher when I was growing up there almost thirty years ago, but not by much.
We had one all-purpose store called Bells Market, one bar, one arcade room with about four different games in it, which actually was a part of another little store in town called Quick Stop, no stop lights in the entire little community, one small post office, and one police officer for the town. Oh, yeah, we had a gas station too.
The police officer, or more accurately, the town cop, also ran a hot dog shop. It was situated just past the post office, on the way to the new park, right before a little walking bridge that connected one piece of broken concrete to another. Those hot dogs were pretty good. You used to be able to buy four for a dollar.
The White Camp, The Bottom, and Grays Flat is basically how the little town was divided for the most part. We lived in The Bottom. At one point in time,
