PREFACE
With this yielding of what we know of as the Shepherd’s Psalms, it teaches us the ways and directions that would be beneficial for us to follow. The author finds that sheep are more engulfed in curiosity than they are in the thought of commitment. This book intends to discuss and evaluate the necessity of staying in close proximity to the Shepherd. It will also prove that sheep are anti-intelligent and that without the guidance and governing of the Shepherd we will find ourselves in valleys without the privilege of a compass. The valleys are created for us to refrain on relying on our physical vision and apperceptions. Being in the valleys of life is purposed for our spiritual vision to kick in and grow us to spiritual maturity. Our Spiritual vision is only to simply rely on the Lord leading us without visual and physical dependence. After reading this book, it is our desire for you to testify to the fact that our Shepherd knows better than we . . . where we should go . . . what we should do while we are there . . . and the best direction for our next haven! One of the greatest downfalls as it relates to the Shepherd and sheep’s relationship is that we most times are confident that our ways are the best ways; when in reality our ways only produce dry pastures, running waters, and unwelcomed attacks from our enemies. Upon learning the need and importance of our Shepherd we would immediately see that life is so much sweeter when we acquiesce to how the Psalmist David begins his testimony. The Lord is MY Shepherd . . . until we make this proclamation, the only outcome we can expect is to be wanderers; wielding weaknesses as we go through life without Christ as our Shepherd!
