About the Cover

I have an ongoing joke that I do not pick the cover, the cover picks me. In the past, whenever I am working on a project (books, meditation CDs, etc) I have always been given a vision of what the cover will look like way before the project is even done. I am also very blessed to always be directed to the perfect person to create the vision in my head. This was no different.

I contacted Jen with my simple vision. I saw rainbow watercolors and some kind of meaningful symbol. I took it as no coincidence that as I was writing the chapter on my Egyptian past life, she e- mailed me with the idea of the Ankh as the symbol for the cover! I was thrilled and thought it was a perfect fit!

About the Ankh

The Ankh is a common Egyptian symbol. It looks like a cross with an egg-shaped top and is the symbol for eternal life. Some Egyptian artifacts depict various gods holding the ankh to a person’s mouth or giving it to them. It is believed to symbolize that life continues past death.

Have you ever wondered if maybe you have been here before? Have you ever wondered if those moments of déjà vu could actually be flashes of memories from a past life? Have you ever instantly connected with someone you just met, and had this overwhelming feeling that you had met them before? Do you find yourself drawn to certain cultures, places, or eras in time? Do you have fears or phobias that just cannot be explained?

I am sure the battle between whether or not past lives actually exist will continue way beyond my current lifetime. However, whether you believe in past lives or not, the regression process itself can be a vital healing tool for many.

Introduction

I have an on-going joke that I am walking around this life with a notebook taking really good notes for the next life! Jotting down all the things I need to make better decisions on, like smaller hips, more money, definitely better relationship choices, etc. Of course, I am also keeping a very precise list of who I will ignore the next time around. That list mainly consists of ex-boyfriends (but that, my friends, is an entirely different book).

Obviously, I believe in past lives or I would not be writing this book. I have seen in my own life how my past life experiences have affected the choices I have made in my current life. I can’t help but wonder, then, if my current life is not only about learning from the past, but also, and more importantly, preparing for a better future life.

Throughout the book, I will share with you my own personal experiences as well as some client regressions I have done.
