Plan E: Teach English Abroad
()
About this ebook
This book is an overview of points to consider if you are serious about packing your bags and traveling to another country to teach English. In almost any circumstance that you currently find yourself, preparing properly can actualize this prospect. This is not, however, a “Step by Step Guide” or “How to Program” taking you from idea, to signed contract, to landing in a new country. This will be a comprehensive read, but by no means will this cover ALL the aspects of importance. I will bring up some variables that you need to consider while at the same time knocking down the obstacles that you have already fictitiously created. Remember, there are ALWAYS excuses as to why something will not work or your goal is somehow unachievable.

taking you from idea, to signed contract, to landing in a new country. This will be a comprehensive read, but by no means will this cover ALL the aspects of importance. I have not formatted this book as a step-by-step guide due to the fact that a different handbook would be required for each destination country. I will not teach you the most effective way to learn a new language, how to get over stomaching exotic foods, how to tie your shoes or even how to get laid in a foreign country – all of that is in my second book. Illustrated are the factors that you need to focus on and weigh against when choosing a place to live and work. Not all English teaching position, countries, or experiences living abroad are created equal. You create the world you live in and research and inquiry will set yourself up for a positive, life-changing experience.

My GPA was good, I studied hard and was ambitious, but like many of you, I was about to graduate and was terrified as to what my future held. I had spent four years grinding pencils and memorizing seemingly useless jargon. I wanted something unusual and strange
