About this ebook
The War in the West, the new supplement for John Hill's Across A Deadly Field brings to the tabletop the bitter struggles of the Western Theatre of the Civil War. The special rules included in this volume provide everything needed to recreate the battles, both great and small, of this theatre of the war. With the scenarios in The War in the West, players may challenge themselves to do better than historical commanders, attempting to reverse the course of the Vicksburg Campaign at the Battle of Champion Hill, or improving upon Sherman's performance at Pickett's Mill. The pivotal battles of Shiloh and Nashville, presented in great detail as optional multi-scenario mini-campaign, offer players both historical accuracy and the versatility to accommodate all preferences and miniatures collections.
