And so it begins... with a new game there are bound to be new supplements. Quarantine 37 is the first supplement for Stargrave, Osprey’s Frostgrave in space.
This supplement will give the rival spaceship captains and crew something else to worry about, namely deadly virus plagues and alien ‘bugs’ – both are classic sci-fi themes! A special mini-campaign of four scenarios is provided for each, with options to make the game work for three or four players a side. There are also rules provided for running the game solo and a four-scenario mini campaign for solo play. Stats are provided for the new creatures, and the zombie infection is pretty deadly, so best shoot them! For the bugs, the game introduces ‘pings’, yes the Space Hulk classic that might just be a blip on your scanner, or might be several nasty aliens trying to sneak up on you.
Two new backgrounds are provided: the Aristocrat (who starts with one free ship upgrade and more credits) and the Hunter (who specializes in hunting beasts) – both have new skills to match. For example, the Aristocrat can use contacts to buy specific technology and investments to gain extra credits per game.
