It was still dawn when I stepped out of the cab and walked towards the entry gate of the Delhi Airport. The early morning February air was pleasantly cold.

I was traveling to Bengaluru to attend a college friend's wedding. It had been four years since we graduated from the same college. This wedding was also going to be a reunion of our batch mates. But what I didn't know was that the reunion would begin much ahead of time; right in the queue in front of the airline counter.

I was almost sure it was she. Same height! Same long hair! Same complexion! Curiosity had my eyes glued to her. And then about 60-odd seconds later, when she turned, she proved me right. My ex-girlfriend stood two places ahead of me in that queue. We had never met after the college farewell.

By the way let me introduce myself. I am Raj and my ex-girlfriend is Sheetal. Things were completely different in reality as soon as we finished our studies because it is when we understood that what we studied for so many years in the college were hardly of any use on the field/market/ground - what ever you call them.

It wasn't a cake walk to get placed though we had placement cell in the college but those were conducted only for the name sake. Hence we all ventured out on our own to find a job for ourselves to get placed. Though we did Engineering, I selected KPO sector as I found it more intriguing and after going through lot of demanding assignments and in-house politics, I now see myself successfully positioned as an AVP in that organization.

Oops...I forgot to say Hello to my ex-girlfriend as I got carried over with my introduction. Let
