Serena left the children with her friend and went to Liam’s office. She was wearing a long coat and absolutely nothing underneath. Her hope was to get a few minutes alone with him in the office. She could not even remember when the last time they had sex was. By the time he usually got home she was already too tired to do anything. Even though she trusted her husband, Serena knew something had to change. She could not blame Liam for never being home because she knew they needed the money.

Liam was very in love with his wife and he talked about her to anyone who was willing to listen. Kathy knew it was not going to be an easy task to seduce him. She started by acting as his friend and listening to his problems. He felt guilty for working so many hours. Liam was also scared that his marriage was in trouble because of this. Kathy pretended that she cared for him and she earned his trust. Before he knew it, they ended up having sex. This meant nothing for him. The only reason it happened was because he had a little too much to drink after a business meeting.

Liam never intended to cheat on his wife. They were still so happy together. His job was keeping him away for long hours every day and this was harming their marriage. However, he planned to change his schedule and spend more time with his wife. What happened with his assistant was almost like an accident. He didn’t plan it but it happened. He took all the blame and hoped Kathy would not become a problem. After all, she knew very well he was not a free man. She came on to him and she accepted the risk. As far as his wife was concerned, there was no need for her to know anything. Liam did not see what good could come from being honest. In the end he would clear his conscience but Serena would get hurt. He wasn’t going to do that to her. Like a real man, he was going to live with his actions and guilt.

Nothing else happened between them since then. Kathy hoped that meant the beginning of a long affair but the next day he acted like nothing even happened. It was business as usual. She was the assistant and he was the boss. She was disappointed about that. Kathy already fantasized

Very, very shallow characterizations, writing and stilted conversations between characters.

Wtf did I just read?

This entire story isn’t the worst I’ve read but it definitely isn’t the best. The dialogue, the interactions and the characters are all stilted and terrible.

Let me save you 30 - 60 minutes of reading time. Warning: Spoilers.

He cheats on her. The other woman fakes a pregnancy to destroy his marriage, he allows her to give him a blow job while he’s confronting her about smoking and possibly faking the pregnancy - oh btw, this is all while he’s trying to save his marriage.

Then his wife gets pregnant after they reconcile. There is no amends made by him, he says sorry, she forgives. Then she and be made another terrible mistake and hired a babysitter. A very beautiful, young and braless babysitter. How could anything possibly go wrong.

Oh and then the wife has an affair of her own- with his boss. Which turns out was a terrible idea because the boss falls in love/lust with the wife and of course threatens her husband with losing his job. Which he did lose and now they’re going broke.

This is the worst couple and they deserved each other. I think the other woman and the boss should thank their lucky stars that they weren’t stuck with them.
