1—The Walnut Villa
Michael stepped out of his car and looked up at his house. He let out a deep sigh. How could this be it? Just three months ago he had moved in and finally they had found a place that felt like home. He and Jennifer had a room to call their own, not to mention a bedroom for each of their three children, plus a playroom. She continued to list idea after idea until finally Michael rested his hand on top of hers and quietly said, We have to sell the house.
Jennifer broke down, tears streaming down her cheeks as she buried her head in her arms. Michael busied himself with the children, pulling them into the playroom so they wouldn’t be distressed by the collapse of their mother. This was not going to be easy and it was going to take everything he had to find a way out of this mess. He let out a heavy sigh as he fell into the sofa, pulling Tom and Cindy beside him. They focused on the TV
