Jenny was anxious as she pulled up her bank account details to check the latest credits. Still no deposit from her new tenant, meaning her rent was now three weeks late. She’d tried ringing Diane, who had rented her little house two months ago. There was no dial tone and a recorded voice said the number was not in service.
There was nothing else for it.
