The ciabatta bread is one of the most famous Italian breads in the world. With this recipe, you can make ciabatta breads whenever you feel like it and enjoy it with any main or side dish, you like.

    Ingredients

    1 tbsp honey

    1 ¼-cup water

    2 cups almond flour

    2 tbsp instant yeast

    1 tbsp olive oil

    1 ½ tsp salt

    1-cup tapioca flour

    1 tsp apple cider vinegar

    3 large egg whites

    Method

Place a deep baking tray on your work surface, line it with baking paper and set aside. Take a large mixing bowl; sift in the dry ingredients in it, to get rid of any lumps, which might be present. Add olive oil and egg whites, in the dry ingredients and mix with the help of an electric beater, until all the ingredients are mixed well. Keep beating, then add in the apple cider vinegar and water, and beat until well incorporated. The result would be very soft and gooey dough; it would resemble a cake batter. Pour this prepared batter into your baking tray spread with baking paper over it, and spread it out evenly with the help of a spatula. Tap the tray light, to get rid of any air bubbles, which might be present. Then with the help of a knife, make light incisions on the dough.

Place your baking tray in a cold oven; the heating up of the oven will help the bread rise and take the shape of a round bun. Once you have placed the tray in a cold oven, close the door, and set the temperature at 425oF. Let the bread bake for 25 – 30 minutes or till it turns light golden brown in color. Take it out, serve it warm, or allow it to cool, and then enjoy.
