About this ebook

The Mating Games gathering has arrived!
Finding ones mate is not always easy. Not everyone's mate is always the same species and the Council knows this, so they designed a way for all types of shifters and other paranormals to come together. Have some fun, meet new people, and if you are one of the lucky ones....find your mate.
Knowing that Councilman Troy is responsible for their friend's disappearance, and proving it, are two different things. However, Colby and Ian are just as determined to do that, as they are to figure out how to make their mating official.
Discovering that the councilman is using endangered animal shifters for his own purposes, pushes Colby's saber toothed tiger and Ian's giant golden crowned flying fox to change their approach, but not their determination.
The thing is, even with all they know, can they save Joop and the others and still prove that Councilman Troy is behind it all or will the Councilman make these two a part of his experiments first?

Hi there everyone. I’m Cree Storm. I’m a sister, a mom, a grandmother and a wife. I am the luckiest woman alive as far as I’m concerned. I have a beautiful family and know if times get hard I have my soul mate right there to help me through it. What makes my life even better is being able to do what I love for a living. I have always had a great imagination and being able to bring those characters to life for you makes my heart and soul sing.Although I traveled some as a military brat and lived in places like Germany, New York, Pennsylvania and New Mexico, I have found myself settling in Quebec, Canada with my husband. I love being surrounded by nature and wildlife and there is nothing like sitting and watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks fluttering around my yard or traveling around Canada and finding my mind creating worlds for you all to enjoy. Life is good and I just want to bring some of my happiness into your life and hopefully make you smile, laugh and get away from everyday stress. Hugs and Love to you all and I hope you enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them.

    About The Author

    CHAPTER 1

Ian walked next to Colby without saying a word. Honestly, he didn't know what to say. This was his mate walking next to him and he had no idea how to talk to him.

Ian, do you not like me? Colby asked quietly.

Snapping his head in Colby's direction, he gasped, Of course, I like you. Why would you even ask me that?

Colby looked away from Ian's stare, saying, Well, you haven't said more than five words to me since you met me.

Ian went to disagree, then closed his mouth. Colby was right.

Seeing the sadness in Colby's face, Ian felt like an outright idiot.

Stopping in his tracks, Ian sighed, Colby, I'm sorry. It isn't you at all...it's...

"Oh, hell the, it isn't you it's me, crap, really?" Colby whispered.

Ian watched as Colby stood there shaking his head in despair and Ian swallowed, dug deep, and admitted, What if I'm not what you want?

Colby's mouth dropped open as he looked in Ian's direction, What the hell does that even mean? You're my mate, Ian. Fate doesn't make mistakes.

Snorting, Colby rubbed his hard, straining cock through the front of his pants and said, Besides, if I get any harder I'm going to have permanent zipper marks on my dick.

Ian scrunched his nose as he said, That's just crude.

Colby huffed, Ian, it might be crude, but it's true. Now, what is the real problem?

Sighing heavily, Ian said, Let's keep going, to the pond, and I'll tell you on the way. Not having you look at me while I talk will hopefully make it easier.

They began walking once more, as Ian started talking, About three years ago, I met someone. He talked about how we were meant to be together and that he could see himself falling in love with me so easily.

Snorting, Colby said, I can see where he would say that. I mean, you are sexy, funny, and I've personally seen your loyalty to the ones you care for.

Ian gave Colby a small smile as he said, Thank you.

For a short time, Ian was quiet and appreciated the fact that Colby wasn't rushing him. This was not an easy story to tell.

Needing a bit of comfort, Ian took Colby's hand in his own, and ignored his gasp as Ian continued with his story, I was so excited. I mean, it isn't every day that a great looking guy gives someone like me the time of day.

When Colby went to say something, Ian squeezed his hand saying, I mean, the fact that I'm a geek boy. Ricky, Joop, and I found out a long time ago, guys don't usually like to have someone around that's smarter than they are. I don't know, maybe we intimidate them somehow, maybe they feel inept, maybe...

Colby interrupted with a soft, Maybe they feel they'll bore you because they don't have the quick answer.

Ian turned startled eyes to Colby.

Colby shrugged as he said, Ian, your intelligence can be intimidating. I won't lie to you, it scares me. However, what really scares me is that you're going to look at me like some dumb jock or a dumb laborer.

I would never do that, Colby. Ian said breathily.

Why not? I work in construction, I don't read the paper or have much interest in books. I like to go four wheeling, hiking in the woods, and playing football with my friends. I love being outside. The thought of doing what you guys do, well...it gives me hives. Colby said honestly.

Ian laughed, Sometimes, Colby, it does the same to me.

Colby's eyes were wide and that made Ian laugh even more as he said, What? You don't think a lab rat likes to be outside once in a while?

Tilting his head, Colby said, I really didn't give it much thought.

Ian looked straight ahead as he continued to walk, saying, Well, believe me, we do. Anyway, Kelvin and I dated for three months. We did some kissing and I didn't understand why he wasn't trying to take things further.

Colby growled and Ian quickly looked at him asking, Do you want to hear this or not?

Colby scowled, saying, I don't want to as much as need to. It's just hard hearing how your mate wanted someone to fuck them.

Ian huffed, Colby, I didn't even know you then.

Colby stuck out his bottom lip, pouting as he said, I know. It still doesn't make it easy to hear.

Ian snorted, Does that look really work for you?

Colby pulled in his bottom lip, grumbling, I must be losing my touch, because it used to.

Ian stopped, turned to Colby, and went on his tippy toes to give him a peck on the cheek. Then softly whispered, It is adorable, but completely unnecessary.

Colby brought his hand to where Ian had kissed him. Ian watched as he closed his eyes and
