Erica had never done something like this before.

She could say that about a lot of things. For example, she had never been bungee jumping. Had never eaten a frog. Never done anal. Lots of things a young woman of twenty-eight had never done.

Whenever Erica tried something new, she got nervous. Really nervous. Like shaking in her stiletto heels nervous.

I’ve never met someone from online, she thought, standing outside a dark bar on a darker corner. She looked at her note to make sure this was the right place. With a heavy sigh, she ran her fingers through her fine long hair and adjusted the spaghetti straps on her dress. She also tugged the hem down toward her knees, but it wasn’t going much farther past her ass. If things went the way they were supposed to, she wouldn’t have to worry about covering herself up.

Shuddering, Erica opened the bar door and went inside.

It was full enough that she blended into the crowd, but still empty enough that it was relatively quiet, aside from the soft rock music playing on the speakers. Most of the people here were blue collar, although some secretaries from a nearby office building decorated the place with their pencil skirts and buns on their heads. They drank craft beers while the factory workers from the industrial district drank cheaper fare.

Erica barely had time to take the scene in – for sitting at the far end of the bar was her date of the
