About this ebook
It might seem like a holiday trip to Hollywood for our heroine, but mysterious events are beginning to set off behind her back. Its only when she falls asleep that first night in Hollywood, that she gets even the vaguest inkling of what's going down, when she meets the spirit of a famous actress.
From there, the tale begins to unravel in a manner similar to 'A Christmas Carol', though in her case, its not just seeing the visions, she actually gets to live them out! Only at the end of the week, does she find out why?
Which life, in which era will she choose, or will she just go back home, as the girl who left?
And as is the want of an actress, life isn't just about acting, it's all the side events surrounding it too. Travel back to the 20's, and 30's, as well as life now, a leap in time for 2 actresses, from then, to now.

I should have been born on a Kansas plain, instead of which, I was born in the hills of Yorkshire many years ago. I am of Irish ancestry, and though my family emigrated in the early 20th century, I'm still proud of it, even if its pretty diluted by now. I have a big fascination with history, which probably explains the time travel stories that I write. Being a flapper in the 20's would appeal to me no end, though I would miss the internet.

Chapter 1 - The Journey There
Well, I didn’t think anything special happened on the flight to Los Angeles, but then again, given I'd never flown anything other than economy in the past, I had no real preconceptions about what an upgrade would involve. Yes, I seemed to get special attention, but hey, isn't that what you pay the premium for?
Even so, I hadn't expected to be upgraded from premium economy all the way up to first class just like that without even asking! I'd just got to check-in and was told that I now had a new set of tickets, and the ones that I'd printed off were no longer needed. I was just getting ready to say something when I saw where the seat numbers were: right up front! Alright, I loved every minute of it, truly felt like a movie star and all that, though, just like my favourite actress, Jean Harlow, I acted in a modest manner, every step of the way.
On arrival at Atlanta, I was whisked off to the priority desks at Immigration, which meant a first: actually waiting for my bags on arrival in the US. Not for long, though, as it seems first class cases arrive first.
Though I didn’t know it, I was being watched.
Is that the dame, heading for Hollywood?
It is, though she has no idea what's waiting for her there.
I bet she doesn't!
Follow her, make sure she has no, err, difficulties getting on board her plane, or before.
Will do. Is everything set up for her arrival at the hotel?
It is, so I'm told.
The flight to Los Angeles was smooth, though I couldn’t work out for the life of me why the stewardesses were paying me so much attention. But yes, it was nice being fussed over.
I was half expecting to be told a limo was taking me to the hotel, not the shuttle bus, but, for once, I got to live the normal life. Then I got to the hotel reception desk. Yes, my room issue was sorted out, I would be staying in the larger room for the whole holiday. No, I didn't have to pay any extra for doing so, as I was a member of the hotel group scheme.
Hey, I'm loving this holiday already.
It was late, I ordered food in, I caught up on the internet while eating. Once done, I went to bed.
